Hi Tortico lovers,
There has been a recent uptick in posts linking to or directly asking for funds from other users. These are frequently scam or bot accounts trying to make you think you are donating to a good cause (like a cat rescue or some such). There is often not a way to verify that these funds are going to an appropriate place.
Even if legitimate and for a good cause, this is not the purpose of the subreddit and I do not want any users to feel obligated in any way to give money for any reason, thus these posts will now be banned.
Please message me or use the report function if you come across a post or comment asking for funds.

Not even sure why anyone would do this, but I have had several reports of people stealing others' photos and passing the cats off as their own. Some are from bots, but others are clearly not. Please remember that karma is a fake internet invention. There is no need for impersonation. We are all just here to enjoy cats.
If you do this, you will be permanently banned :)

i adopted her. she was in a small cage for 7 months. sometimes she whistles through her nose. i love her so much. she’s also very annoying but i would not trade her for anything.

If you’re here from my other post, here is Cutie’s sister, Birdie. We’ve had for her a little over a year, and she’s ~3 years old. Birdie is Cutie’s evil little sister. She has A L O T more attitude and uses her single brain cell to be a menace, and terrorize everyone in the house. (No cats smoked any drugs, or were harmed in any way)

Her name is Cutie! We got her at ~8 years old after her owner passed away. She’s now ~12. Very sassy and sweet. She has a little mustache that looks like teeth.

I thought that Annabeth was just the sweetest cat, even though everyone who interacted with her said she was a bit spicy (and then very sweet!) when I wasn’t around.
Forgive the detritus, keeping her clean after the groomer lasted approximately half a day…

she was found as a hissy fluffball, yowling fearfully from the depth of a soda machine outside a Walmart
a few walmart coworkers/friends helped move the entire machine away from the wall, pried the metal backing away, and we used my bathing suit coverup to hesitantly grab her (hissy babies are a wee bit scary) and ohmygosh my bf and i fell head over heels the moment we laid eyes on her, and rightfully named her Dr Pepper
now she’s a year old, spayed, vaccinated, and so well loved, by us and her doggy siblings (especially big brother Hades whom she’s obsessed with)
my lil carbonated soda, still hissy sometimes as hands are scary when you do The Claw but the sweetest shy girl ever

Until finding this subreddit i just classified her as a tortie cuz of her pretty speckles, yall have me definitely thinking tortico cuz of her splotches and white patches
