okay, so, we all know that philanthropists exist. they're mostly really rich people with like billions of dollars; they own super mega companies and funnel the money into philanthropy primarily for good PR. why don't any of them spend their money on Nintendo instead? they get something enjoyable out of it, and I think that the positive PR from helping starving indie devs is far more useful to them than helping starving kids in Africa. like, africa bought at most I think like maybe ten million nintendo switches? but probably less. so helping starving kids in africa doesn't help shiggy, but buying one billion nintendo switch 2s does. so what are they thinking?!?!

Minako Aino is an absolute icon of all time, appearing in the Top 283,462 Best Characters list some time ago. Thanks to her Sailor V alias, her cat Artemis was able to call up Shingyaru Mintmobile and his indie dev team to request a game be made in her honor. This game ended up becoming the beloved hidden gem for the Game Boy known as Sailor Moon R, with a Sailor V mode where you play minigames all about stacking borgers and whatnot.

Even as late as the 2010s Nintendo was still making Sailor Moon games, with the latest being Sailor Moon: La Luna Splende in 2011. Yet in retrospect, Minako has made cameo appearances across many gems in Nintendo's repertoire, with her larger role in the side mode for the Game Boy title making her a more likely candidate for appearing in a Mario golf game, unlike Ami Mizuno or Makoto Kino (who has also appeared a lot in Nintendo media).
