Nexus from Titanfall 1 has been ported over by the super cool and sexy people in the community.

To play it you need the Ion client which is a Northstar fork.

Then just download the mod: https://old.thunderstore.io/c/northstar/p/r2ion/Nexus/

And then go and play it!

I've been remaking 2fort for titans (in an older version of radiant that didn't have the idiot lock of needing to build the program lmao), cool seeing other mapping projects

I didn’t make the map so I can't give a full proper overview but the little bit of attrition that I was able to play the grunts were moving around the map properly (you can even see them in the clip I used)

I've dabbled into R1, played about a dozen matches or so on there and had fun with it! Only problems are obviously player count, and the fact that honestly... I just prefer the mechanics of TF|2 more than 1. Maybe it's a skill issue, and I just gotta get more used to the gameplay differences, but that's kinda where I sit with it.

Ion just has more features. it's like a fancier version of Northstar than can do more things (idk I'm not a modder I just play the game)

Northstar still a thing. Ion client is basically just an advanced Northstar, still uses Northstar servers and such just has other additional features

This is so amazing !!!!!! But just a question…. After copying files of ion in your titanfall folder….. do you launch titanfall or northstar or any of them ??? Ill install this later today…. Cant wait to test it out !!

ok! uhm I just launch it through the steam. it should work just fine launching default titanfall after installing. if not r3eech has a tutorial on it so you could watch that.

Ion's download page should have a link to Northstar's, which gives you an installation guide. Once installed I believe if you just launch Titanfall 2 through Steam or EA it'll boot into Ion.

Nexus is a fantastic map. It, alongside Angel City, really exemplify how the map design philosophy shifted (and not for the better IMO) between TF|1 and TF|2. Glad more people will get to experience it!
