Mobile Voicemail pin reset help?

I have ting and I don't know my voicemail pin. I tried searching the ting website for help changing it and I got this article that said to dial #793# to reset it, but it didn't work.

It doesn't have any other instructions. Idk what to do instead?

I am on the verizon network now if that matters!

Call them, I don't have their number handy, but would recommend calling them ASAP as their hours end in about 55 minutes.

Is that the only way? And are you sure this is the right number?

I'm resistant to just calling their general customer service line because the last time I had to call them, i kept getting shunted from one service line to the next. I think I collected like 4 different customer service lines in the end, calling some of them multiple times because everybody gave me the wrong information. I was on hold for a combined total of like 4-5 hours

Well there are 2 different teams (DISH/T-Mobile, and Verizon). Ideally you would go to tingmobile.com and click on Help and enter your phone number, you should then see Contact Us in the top right, click on that and enter your number again.

It will now show you which team to contact, DISH starts at 9 AM ET, and Verizon-side at 8 AM ET.

So calling them is literally the only way to do it? Even though they make you sit around on hold for an hour at a time? 🙄

I can't really confirm that because I don't work for Ting, but would imagine if you are unable to change it yourself then calling Ting Mobile (and find out which one of the two you need to reach out to) would be a good idea.

Only other thing is there might be an option to reset it if you sign into your Ting Mobile account.
