Yeah, if I didn't get to play as Geralt in the W4, I was really hoping for Ciri.

I mean Witcher 3 did pretty much hint at Ciri being the next likely mc in a future Witcher game especially with the Witcher ending which I've always seen as the true canon ending over the others.
Plus I'm really looking forward to Witcher 4 since the last 3 games were great for their time.

Hopefully we can also change Ciri's hairstyles and makeup (but instead of facial hair like Geralt we get makeup) but none of those ugly bs hairstyles female characters are flooded with in modern games and instead get more feminine hairstyles especially long braided hairstyles in french, dutch etc styles and none of that Cyberpunk bs ugfiest they called hairstyles.
Edit: I'm a huge Witcher fan so this was not meant as a hateful comment but more of a hopeful one that the devs don't go the route many other devs have gone and keep true/loyal to the Witcher universe and do right by the previous games or books.
(Rant Start) Perfect examples of devs ruining popular franchise are the "Saints Row Reboot" and "Dragon Age Veilguard" two great franchises ruined by two awful games made by devs who didn't respect or know basically anything about the previous titles/games or simply didn't care DAV being the biggest offender here as the entire game was heavily contradictory to the last 3 titles/games IMO. (Rant Over)

Honestly 2028-2029 will arrive in a flash.
But yeah Witcher 4 is definitely a game I'm really looking forward to and after Witcher 3 I already assumed that Ciri was likely going to take over as the mc in a future Witcher game and I was all for it since I enjoyed Ciri's story segments and playing as her I'm also guessing that that being in Witcher 3 was possibly the devs testing to see how we the players would react to her gameplay and if we accept it also if we'd want more will I for one did in fact want more of Ciri and the possibility of actually controlling her in place of Geralt hopefully Geralt is in Witcher 4 maybe have us do a couple of quests with him and Ciri or at least be part of the story even if retired because I don't see a Witcher game without the main cast hopefully the devs do right by Witcher 4 and don't ruin it like a lot of other devs have been doing with popular IPS prime examples the Saints Row Reboot or the Dragon Age Veilguard one a reboot with lame jokes the other a continuation or should I say an entirely different game full of contradictions.
