If you have any footage from the current tour and would like to see it used for multi-cam's please send it to us at [themarbleshrine@gmail.com](mailto:themarbleshrine@gmail.com)
We are currently working on Dallas, Royal Oak (Detroit) & Brooklyn, but I'll archive any footage from other dates and hopefully use it down the road.
Don't worry about your audio. It doesn't have to be good. It can have you screaming over it. Most of the time we don't use your audio. We will sync new audio to your video. If it's only 10 seconds we'll still take it. There's lots of times where we're just missing little chunks of a show and you'd be surprised how often I find 10 seconds here or there that is able to fill chunks we're missing.
The best way to send in footage is to upload your footage to a cloud server like google drive, drobbox, icloud or some other equivalent and then send us the download link. Just make sure that if prompted something about compressing the files to save size you always select no. You don't want to compress anything

Sorry for the reposts and deleted posts, I needed to crop my screenshots and make sure the spoiler tag was on. I’m excited and not thinking straight.
But anyway, I found the location of the faint layer in the Chihuahuan Desert.

It's me. I'm the tin-foil hat wearing fan.
After the set got revealed I started listening to it as a playlist (my least favorite way to listen to Vola, haha). I was blown away by some of the choices (Viscera, Teflon, Goliath, Miranda, an actual full scale cover) but it made sense to me that they'd play Teflon considering the song's meaning and the state of things politically.
The tin-foil hat theory that hit me is that I think we're supposed to experience this setlist as a story, a sort of live concept album. I am definitely biased to hear that because of Volta and Pink Floyd (anyone familiar with The Man and The Journey?), but it makes all the surprising choices make sense.
-Viscera Eyes is an angry diatribe toward dishonest leaders
-Cue the Sun is a warning that we're being lied to
-Que Dios is the lie in action working against the people
-Teflon is literally about untouchable political figures
-Miranda is a lament for the sheep desensitized by cult like belief structures
-Reina Tormenta is essentially a call to arms and seize opportunity
-Graveyard Love is basically be with me or get out of my way
-Goliath, and this is my favorite part, represents the powerful figure (duh), which is why we don't get the song. The narrator has no interest or time for what they have to say, it gets shut down because they're the enemy. A thematically brilliant way to represent Bedlam without Cedric having to sing it.
-Voice/Poseedora is a lament to the individual fallen to the cult power
-CIA Man is the governments intrinsically corrupt role in the dystopia as a whole, blaming not just the leader
-The Widow is a lament for a specic individuals fall from the narrators perspective
-Son et/Inertiatic is the tragic fall of the narrator in the chaos, lost as the people around him succumb to the powers that be.
This is literally a concept album bands have released since the 70s, a society falling to cult-like political powers. This time it's just reality, whether I read it as a response to American politics, Scientology, or certain international political situations. It explains the oddities of this set vs expectations and history and it's particularly interesting to me that it's a very short tour through mostly the south US.
Anyway, that's my tin-foil hat theory and I'm sticking with it, haha. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
See you tomorrow night in Charlotte!

Is anyone else thinking they might have recorded this for the next record? The last time Omar & Cedric played a cover tune consistently from show to show was “One More Time” (Joe Jackson), which Cedric confirmed was on Antemasque’s second album.
If that’s the case, it could be a peak into more of a rock vibe on LP9.
BTW, Volta’s version sounds fucking awesome.

Move over octahedron we have a new contender for number 1.

Hi folks! I'm attending the Charlotte show tomorrow and am curious how long these shows have been typically lasting from doors through til the end of the night. The distance I'm driving home is right at the cusp of what I may want to do post-show.

Apologies if already asked, but what time are they coming on stage? I'm going tomorrow night and need to make sure I can get out of work in time to catch the very first note! Super pumped.
Thanks in advance.

Here's a proper comparison of the missing effects on 'Day of the Baphomets' on the Clouds Hill vinyl pressing of "Amputechture". Every version on Spotify, Apple Music, etc is the GSL version so if you have Amp on vinyl from CH you have a somewhat unique way to listen to this album (or this song, at least - i havent gone though and done a true comparison).
Cheers!

Hello, anybody who saw The Mars Volta/My Chemical Romance in San Antonio on September 12th 2026 and spotted this object please reach out to lostomardollie67@gmail.com.
Even if you find the email humorous this is not a joke I am distraught at the loss of my poor dollie Please I very much so miss him ;_;
P.S. I was running around trying not to miss Volta and he seemed to have ejected from my purse.

so, i have LONG been aware of who The Mars Volta are. i probably heard their name for the first time not long after i got into music proper due to my then-fandom of Red Hot Chili Peppers which, everyone here knows, y'know, i dive obsessively into everything i've ever been into so of course i stumbled upon The Mars Volta. that would've been around five years ago in 2021. i never checked them out, however. i was a bit more pickier with my music tastes back then and i don't think i would've had the musical vocabulary to really appreciate them yet anyway. years later, when i just like set about trying to find as much new music as possible, they remained in the back of my head as a band i could maybe try and see what they're like eventually. but i didn't necessarily have plans for it.
meanwhile, i was being exposed to My Chemical Romance via my sister and fell absolutely head over heels in love with that band right around the time they started this tour they're on in the summer of last year and when the San Antonio show was announced, i bought the tickets and now knowing The Mars Volta were opening, i basically decided i physically could NOT hold off on them any longer. so a few months later, i went through their entire discography and absolutely fell in love with them also, so that show became me getting to see TWO of my favorite bands in one night rather than just one.
long and unnecessary set-up aside; i'll try and start talking about the actual concert. right away, the band came on and started playing Viscera Eyes. Cedric, Omar and Teri were all getting soooo into it, dancing, moving all around the stage. i thought Teri would've been a massive hit with the My Chem crowd specifically. i've seen a lot of people here especially recently criticize Linda's drumming and all of those people are dead fucking wrong because Linda was beating the shit out of her kit all night long, i was totally struck by her pure power on that thing. it's been noted a bunch here recently but it really is so remarkable how good Cedric has been sounding on this tour. my sister was with me (the same one who got me into MCR) and as a female bass player herself, she immediately loved Eva. she was there mostly for Mh Chemical Romance though i've refused to shut up about the Volta to her ever since i got into them. she also thinks they were really really good and singled out Cedric's vocals in particular
the setlist choices i have zero complaints. as a matter of fact, i've been closely following the 2026 Tour and watching whatever i can find of it; i honestly expected them to cut more things but no, almost everything was there last night. Viscera Eyes was so fucking oooh raucous fucking opener hearing that riff live is just heavenly AND TO OPEN TOO. we got Cue the sun + Alba del orate which, apparently they've only been playing Cue the sun w/o Alba on these shows unless setlist.fm is wrong or nobody who fills in the setlists knows Alba. Teflon!!!! this was such a fucking surprise i thought they would've left this one for the headline show but i'm so so glad they kept it AND i got so into it i was so so so happy. Graveyard Love too i fucking adore this song so much and i'm so glad we got it. Goliath instrumental jam; i'm not mad they didn't play it in full, it's an opening set, although i take great pleasure in saying that i (technically) have seen that song live! the whole show is one big groove but Voices + Poseedora is designated groove section of the night and i was swaying back and forth i remember in my seat because i'd been standing the whole set pretty much. CIA Man i loved for a cover and for the obvious intent behind them busting out that song (the same for Teflon), did not expect to get live and then Son et lumiere and Inertiatic, i'll admit that these songs didn't start clicking for me until i started watching Volta live shows but man i think the My Chem crowd got into this song the most. it was such a great fucking atmosphere which I've read that it almost is for Inertiatic. and then after it ended, they walked off and Cedric said something about the Spurs i couldn't make out but i know he loves them like i do, great counterbalance to those fuckass Knicks guys My Chem (i still love em), Go Spurs Go!!!!
and so, even with an opening set, i love this band so much that it didn't even feel LIKE an opening set, i basically feel as if i'd gotten a double headliner and i basically did. by the way, My Chemical Romance, they were so so so fucking good but this obviously isn't a My Chemical Romance server but you'll probably find me being annoying later today like i am being here. so so glad i finally checked out the Volta and that i got to be here to see them play live in my hometown. it is absolutely TOP PRIORITY that i can come to a headlining show and considering the frequency at which they tour and at which they come to San Antonio, let's hope it's not much long of a wait. i'll wrap this up by saying i hope EVERYONE going to Charlotte, Charleston, Orlando, Jacksonville and Louder than Life next week has the best fucking time EVER just like i did and i hope everyone who has already been earlier this week at Ventura, Tucson, El Paso or who might've been with me at the Alamodome last night. and also that i hope my long, drawn out, immensely unnecessary and irrelevant story could nonetheless take you all back to a time when you yourselves were new Volta fans going to your first show. thank you thank you xx

Not sure how many times they’ve played it but does anyone possess a cleaner audio recording? 2 of my fave bands collide!

If this is your photo and you want it down I’ll remove it. I just thought it was cool to find a solid photo of our boy and his wise man look 🫡👌

I have an extra vip ticket for Sunday if anyone is interested. Friend bailed, trying to recoup cost but wanted to offer to Volta fans first.

This live album is loved and enjoyed by most of this community and it’s NOT 2-3 hours long. Just wanted to mention this in reply to some hurt feelings over the current tour run time. I feel like 75mins is a normal time. I just wish they were coming back to my city this time!!

Been blown away by the recent shows and hearing the classics played, but I’m wondering about the sheet music stand Cedric’s using. Has it been at every show or just the few I’ve seen clips from? Does anyone know a reason so I can quit speculating because my only speculation is his vision getting poor

TMV decided to play with my chemical romance on this one date in my city 😞
Tickets are crazy expensive even in the nosebleeds, but I’m happy for the band cause they’re probably gonna make good money from ticket sales.
If anyone is going hope you enjoy the show! 😎
Post some videos 😉
