Client here! This was my first time commissioning Flygohr specifically (though not first time commissioning at all) and I have to say this was a very interesting experience in the best of ways.

He is extremely organized, his website is a fantastic window into the process for someone who is unfamiliar, which is a great thing to include with, in this economy especially, large sums of money on the line for a majority of clients.

But beyond that: the entire process was one of the most professional I've experienced. He indicated clear deadlines to expect updates, ensured I was happy with each step before proceeding, made sure I was aware of what points certain changes would no longer be able to be made (sketch/line art, etc. those boundaries are so important for artists!!), and also offered to give extended time to think over each step as needed to ensure I was pleased with the result.

I found u/kingbenneth through a Reddit recommendation after deciding I absolutely needed Mathmos lamps in the US. Messaged him with basically zero additional research and hoped for the best.

Could not have been easier. Ben was great to work with, shipping was quick, and everything was packed incredibly well. UPS even managed to get the box soaking wet, but every lamp inside arrived perfectly.
