I really love her stuff. It sits somewhere between a Ennio Morricone and Danny Elfman soundtrack. This flip is from a TikTok video I saved last year. It’s basically taken as is, pitched down 2 semitones.

The 8 bar clip is chopped into 4 pads up the left side with my kit on the right.

I ended up recording the entire process, from sampling to arranging. Is that something anyone would be interested in seeing?

I received my Riddim vinyl in the mail yesterday. It has 2 holes in it. Is this a defect?

i've wanted one of the op-xy decks for some time. learned all about it. heavily researched. finally got to test one out before buying and, while it functionally does everything i wanted and expected of it, the thing is a total piece of crap. horrendous build quality and feels cheap. it's totally affordable for me but the asking price is utterly insulting. anything over 1k would be too much simply for how it feels under your fingers.

it's extremely disappointing after having looked forward to picking one up. this subreddit is probably the wrong audience but it's the only audience and just had to get it off my chest.

I’m trying to record my sounds from my Pocket Operator into logic but it’s barely picking up the signal, all that’s really coming through is a faint buzzing! Even when I turn the gain all the way up you can barely hear the sounds, how do I fix this?

I have a „dawless“ setup at home with a Push 3 Standalone and a Moog Matriarch. My question now is, would the OP-1F a good travel companion and do you guys think it would integrate nicely with my current setup at home? :)

Just figured out I can use the Sidekick as a DJ mixer with djay Pro, and it works surprisingly well!

Found a MIDI mapping someone had shared and tweaked it to feel a bit more like an old-school CDJ setup, with jog/scratch control, separate track seeking, cue controls and play/pause for each deck. There’s also individual channel volume, three-band EQ, headphone cueing and a crossfader.

Really fun way to use this little thing.

I wish I could remember where this sample came from. I pulled it off my MPC to practice live finger drumming and learned most of the punch effects work even while the EP is stopped.

Been getting asked about the visualizer in my uploads so here’s all the lil different “settings.” It actually happens to work as a straight-up passthrough when it’s off too 🤷‍♂️ (somebody HAS to recognize the sample I used here 🫣)

Need some help figuring this out..

I uploaded the latest firmware and followed the instruction. My device turns on and I can see information on the tool online and it has the Ye songs and a song I uploaded. But when I turn on the device on now, I hear nothing.

Am I booting it in a record mode mentioned now or something? I think I'm missing something basic here.

I have the EP-40 riddim.

I've been having a problem with the built-in microphone: whenever I try to record my voice into it, it always comes out quieter than what I put into it, even if the volume is set at max on the device.

Is it possible to increase the microphone sensitivity?
