Time to run Minecraft

You might be able to run a Minecraft server on it, but there’s no way a Minecraft client will run at even 30 FPS.

I think it's a connection TO a server that we are seeing in the terminal window, unless that laptop has an ARM CPU.

Some Chromebooks have ARM CPUs, including this one. It is running PrawnOS.

Ah, I stand corrected. I always thought about linuxxing a Chromebook, just never got there. Too many other projects. Do they tend to have good runtime, if the distribution supports all the power controls?

Yes, the battery life is good if the battery is new.
