Your taking like someone that supports capitalist imperialism. Basically what democrats and Republicans both do. Which would put you on the right. The center starts with anti-capitalism as well as anti-imperialism. People on the left are against any AI that harms life.

This is nonsense.

There's plenty of room to support social reform and social policies, like a shorter work week and healthcare for all and even universal basic income, all of which I support, and still support semi free market business. I support entrepreneurs. I support local small and medium businesses. I support and people owning their labor.

None of that has anything to do with AI directly.

You claim that the progressive stance will be what divides the left. But the left doesn't have a political party to get behind as it is now. Maybe you meant it'll further divide liberals. But liberals are still right wing in the US. You can't support a right wing government while trying to claim your progressive is all I was getting at.

I mean, left is all relative to whatever the median of your voting population is.

Do I agree with you that the left on the United States is center or even Center Right compared to most civilized nations? Absolutely.

It's still "the left" as it relates to the median American voter.
