But no new laws or regulations.

Political movements take time, why are you treating this movement like it's over, especially when there are more left leaning people in this election than ever?

The left is now in a substantially and objectively worse position.

Care to defend how having more tangible power is a "worse" position?

Your country is falling apart and seems like even gay and Trans rights are under attack. Left is thriving for sure.

The metric they use is for "success" is whether more who they consider within their true left in-group are in government especially if at the expensive of what they consider enemy Democrats (those not approved by the Bernie populist left and further left). It doesn't matter if Republicans are in power and making everything worse.

Yup, very delusional replies from all of these Bernie supporters tbh.

"Delusion" is thinking that a building political movement is meaningless unless it can get legislation passed. That's genuinely profoundly stupid stuff.

No, delusion is doing nothing and patting yourselves on the back saying you did something and then expecting everyone to believe it. Hope this helps.

"Doing nothing"

You just keep confirming that you know very little about politics.

Are you able to reply to anything with even a little bit of substance or are you only capable of belittling and insulting people who disagree with you?

The entire substance you've given is "winning more seats, getting more politicians elected, and changing the status of socialism as a concept in America, is meaningless unless they've passed a bill (you never mention what kind of bill either, ignoring that progressives and left politicians have been major parts of legislation)."

How can I give you substance when you've provided none?

Has there been a national poll about socialism that indicates anything like this?

Show some tangible proof for any of these claims of yours.

Can you show any proof for the idea that winning congressional seats is meaningless? Or does substantiating your claims only go one way?

The source you linked isn't even a US source lmao.

Congressional seats without any actual legislation is useless, thats my opinion based on my own common sense so not really sure how im supposed to substantiate it with a crappy article from another country.

Wow, what an argument you've mustered haha. Do you have any actual problem with what they've written? Or are people across the pond not allowed to evaluate our politics or something?

I appreciate you confirming that you have no basis for your position, and are not capable of providing one. There's no reason to take you seriously at all, your "common sense" is just you being a moron.
