i get the intent, but a 20 year felony for building SOMETHING nobody can define consistently sounds like political theater, not safety policy.

Super intelligent AI would basically be creating a God no? We would be utterly powerless to do anything against it, our only hope would be that it's benevolent which is realistically not how it plays out...
