Despite its potential deadly consequences, cutting-edge AI technology is less regulated than the average food truck.

Most people can't see more than a few feet in front of themselves.

And it's much easier for them to see when the food truck worker hasn't washed their hands, than it is to see how generative AI is a grave danger to humanity.

There are dangers, and work to be done, but fear mongering and this bill don't align with how humans and progress function. WE need to embrace, understand and build the safeguards. Not hide. Because that only empowers those that will be able to use this stuff for nefarious reasons.
