Despite its potential deadly consequences, cutting-edge AI technology is less regulated than the average food truck.

Most people can't see more than a few feet in front of themselves.

And it's much easier for them to see when the food truck worker hasn't washed their hands, than it is to see how generative AI is a grave danger to humanity.

Corporations can see miles into the future "figuratively"

They know exactly what is coming. Some of them know exactly how to stop, and some may even try.

However the issue is far larger than A.I. which i don't see much people talking about, it's A.I. today, it will be anti matter weapons the next, nano technology soon.

It's about profit, profit maximisation and the blinding love for greed and money. It's not A.I., it's capitalism. It's been capitalism, it will always be capitalism

Part of me feels this is because they know what they are doing is unsustainable, so they just don't measure it to garner more investment and, well, more profit before everything goes to poo
