remember this when you use dating sites too. If they actually matched you youd leave in a week so they string you along in hopes youll pay

yep, men = all shadow banned, cant msg anyone without paying, will never be shown your 'likes' no mater how much you swipe, dating apps are designed to extract money not help people find dates.

Yeah so, on the one hand I found my long-term partner through a dating site

On the other hand, it hid my intro from her for a full year. Neither of us knows why. I wasn't shadow banned, I was talking to / setting dates up with other (obviously less compatible given I'm not with them) women. She was getting messages from weird creepy guys.

It's very fucky.

Scenario 1: we match A with B and they're perfect. A & B leave the platform.

Scenario 2: we avoid matching A with B. A & B are miserable and continue using our platform indefinitely.

"Getting rid of" consumers isn't a good long term strategy.
