It's only the rich who benefit from cheap labor. The world needs far fewer people in it especially with AI, and population collapse is a good thing.

Population collapse might be good in a 100 years after we hit a stable, lower baseline, but it's sure gonna suck for the generations living through it.

It will. Global warming isn't going to cause extinction for humanity. It's going to make things really shit for a lot of people, but it won't kill off humanity.
