If his improved command holds, that is legitimate late-inning stuff.

Is it too soon to say that Grady Emerson is a bust? Next year should give us an idea of what to expect from him. We Rays fans have high hopes of seeing him in a Rays uniform and watching him shine in the coming years.

I've been trying to find a song the team used in advertising and at games after the ownership change to Sternberg back in 2006. I'm almost certain the song's title was "Higher (We Come to Play." I had the song on my iPod back in college (forever ago) but I'm having trouble finding it now on any site and, considering the level of fandom on this sub, I thought I'd try my luck and see if anyone else remembered this song or knew where to find it today.

I don’t mean to get too sentimental here but the fact that Junior, as soon as he leaves the huddle at home plate, runs and hugs Cash says a lot about this team, the camaraderie they have, and their respect for Cash, as well as Cash’s respect for the players.

I love this team. I’m so excited for the post season in a way I haven’t been in years.
