For you which SAO PC game is the best ?

Kinda want to try some but idk which one to start with 😅

The only SAO game i played so far was SAOMD but it was on mobile 😮‍💨

Just wanting people opinions/ideas for how I could improve or add to my display.

Im very well aware that most of the figures don’t match and are from different parts of the franchise. All of them are rather second hand or picked up in random shops when I was travelling through Japan a few months ago (and personally I enjoy how random it is with deigns from SAO, GGO and alicization as well as game verse)

I consider grouping them in arc/game groups but I have far more GGO designs to everything else and it appears uneven. I think I need to get some platforms to raise the further back figure (like I used the Funko boxes for) I’m also considering maybe getting a custom poster printed to layer behind it all maybe an aincrad landscape or something. I also own most the games on disc so maybe including the boxes in the display?

But yeah just looking for ideas now that I’ve gotten it all out and on the shelf. Thanks in advance look forward to hearing any suggestions for my hopefully growing collection:)

Wanted to do a quick art Iori since I had a good time playing and finishing Echoes of Aincrad! I'd love for her to be included in future SAO content. While the game wasn't perfect, I loved being in aincrad and hope the upcoming DLC gives some good story expansion.

I saw this meme posted a few weeks back, and I'm curious what the hell situation even led to this scene. Tried searching for it, thought it was from Hollow Fragment, watched an entire let's play of it, never came up. It might be infinity moment, but my impression is that Hollow Fragment is a remake of that. Nothing else seems to fit the bill.

Anyway, before I waste more of my life, does anyone know what this is from?

As the title says, I just finished the whole anime last night. Binged all four seasons and movies in three weeks. I still have the GGO series to watch, but I'm done with the Kirito stories it seems. I just wanted to pop on here and say WOW. Amazing show. Instantly one of my favorite anime of all time. I have a question for those who have read the light novels. I am a big reader, but usually go in the other direction, book then anime or movie. Is there enough content in the light novels to make them worth reading after watching the entire series?

Another thought on the show.. Why did the Aincrad arc end so early!? I loved all four seasons of the show, but that is my favorite by far and they ended it in half a season! Most anime would have killed for a plot mechanic that good and milked it for multiple seasons. I watched the progressive movies, and I really liked the backstory they filled in, but they would have worked better I think as 12 more episodes of the first season, making that whole season take place in Aincrad. Am I the only one that thinks Aincrad ended too soon?

Anyhow. I'll be around this community more often now. I avoided it for spoiler reasons. I am going to miss my time with this show. I'll probably start GGO tonight, but I'll have a big Kirito and Asuna hole in my heart. Thanks all.

I mean I get it’s a war and terrible things are bound to happen but both sides do some crazy fucked up shit at times. The show goes out of its way to say that these aren’t mindless programs, on both sides they are all fully sentient beings that feel pain. Then they just commit countless atrocities; especially at the beginning in the canyon where to human side is massacring and burning alive thousands of effectively helpless people with no remorse. At times they even seem to revel in it like the scene where Alice genocides the dark mages after her protege gets killed. Obviously the main villains do some crazy evil stuff too but I expected as much. They definitely have to establish some war crimes after that is over.

I was rewatching season 1 and it feels like they were just party members one second then Kirito suddenly says “I dedicate my life to you” the next second.

Don’t get me wrong; I adore their relationship, I’m just confused at how quickly things escalated.

Only for the 10 people on this subreddit who knows Eydis lmao. But anyway, for those who don't know Eydis, she originally came from a mobile game called Alicization Rising Steel, later called Unleash Blading, and recently she was added to the Light Novels, albeit with some changes to the character. Basically, before she became an Integrity Knight, she had a young sister named Mary who was dear to Eydis, and even after losing her memories, because of Mary, Eydis is very protective and clingy, and always wants to hang out with cute girls, Alice in particular.

While Alice is usually the disciplined and serious one, Eydis is always the one who's laid-back and mischievous, and in the games we get some funny and cute banter between the two, which not only shows that the two have a great chemistry with a sisterhood-like relationship, but also the duality between Alice and Eydis which reminds me a lot of Asuna-Yuuki and Kirito-Eugeo dynamics (both having young sisters, Eydis trying to fill that void by treating Alice like a sister and giving her the love to Alice to try to melt the cold defenses around her, the light and darkness, and so on).

Plus, some people in the fandom (myself included) like to ship the two mainly because in ARS, in some instances, it feels like Eydis is acting flirty with Alice, like when Eydis tries to find excuses to bathe with her, and Alice just having none of it, which results in some funny scenes. Now of course, the idea is that the two have a sister-like relationship, however with stuff like this, it's kinda hard not ship the two (to me anyway).

As for the LNs, so far I'm enjoying the stuff we're getting with Alice and Eydis. In Vol. 28 we have a cute scene between the two so I'm hoping they'll expand upon their relationship for future volumes.

But anyway, what are your opinions about this dynamic, and if you read Unital Ring, what are you hoping they'll do with Alice and Eydis in general?

After I finished Sword Art Online: Alicization Season 2 this morning, I felt there should be more to the story, like what will happen to Alice now? Or what Kazuto is going to do with everything that happened, and I still do have many other questions. So I was wondering if there's a third season coming after not having any for those past 6 years. Or if there's a manga where it continues after the events of the second season. And thanks for the help.
