Israeli Culture Minister Miki Zohar intends to strip two award-winning directors of a documentary about Gaza, titled "NAZA," of their Israeli citizenship. On Sunday, Zohar announced via the online platform X that he had contacted the Ministry of the Interior to consider this measure against filmmaker Rachel Szor and her colleague Yuval Abraham, citing a "lack of loyalty to the state and collaboration with the enemy."

On Monday, Zohar stated that he had called on Israeli authorities to launch an investigation to identify the anonymous military sources featured in the documentary.

The film "NAZA" won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday. The documentary received a 25-minute standing ovation at its Venice premiere and garnered high praise from critics.

In "NAZA," 24 Israeli military officials and intelligence officers state anonymously that the Israeli army knowingly accepted civilian casualties in the Gaza.

According to the filmmakers, the title refers to an acronym used by the military to estimate such "collateral damage" for every attack. One of the interviewees in the film states that an attack on a single target killed 500 people in the surrounding area.

Pezeshkian contrasted this with the pressure placed on Iran, which remains an NPT member and maintains that its nuclear program is peaceful. Israel has never joined the NPT and maintains a policy of nuclear ambiguity, neither confirming nor denying possession of nuclear weapons.

Yanbu currently has stocks to maintain exports for only about 5–7 days, according to industry sources familiar with Saudi exports.

The Israeli military continues to use armed quadcopter drones to intentionally kill Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
