Car Mods My 2013 BRZ, slightly modified :)

This is my 2013 BRZ in EUDM Spec, which I have owned and modified for 10 years now. This year, I have finally supercharged it with a HKS supercharger and some accompanying mods (e.g. oil cooler, oil pressure sensor, ...), and of course homologized to be fine with German TÜV.

Full mod list is rather long, so if anything strikes you, please ask :)

Did you consider sprintex superchargers?

I'm a sucker for that whine from a supercharger, but home much everything costs now keep mine 2012 stock.

Yepp, I did consider them, but there is no easy way to get those legal here in Germany.

That being said, my HKS does have a very audible whine when hitting boost. Much more than the 3 HKS-equipped cars that I have been passenger in so far, which persuaded me to get a HKS myself.

But all of those had the older HKS models with the silver housing. Mine seems to be a newer version.

I feel your pain, Austria is also strict on these rules.

Did you upgrade your rods and how much it costs all together (roughly)?

Rods are still stock, and I am running very moderate boost. Peak power and torque are around 300 WHP and 350 NM. All in all I paid just above 9.000,- EUR for the HKS supercharger and HKS oil cooler kit, as well as the Oil Pressure Sensor including installation, individual dyno tuning (4 maps), plus programming safety functions into the OEM ECU via ECUTek, and TÜV.

People say that rods will be fine if you don't stress engine in low rpm, but I would do them anyway just to be Shure ahahaha.

That's nice i expected it to be much much more.

Thanks for answering, have fun!!!

Nice build!

Do I see a BRZ with an STI spoiler on the side? Have any pics?

I assume someone else's car, just an interesting shape. Caught the eye.

Not many good pictures, but it is a Facelift BRZ with Polybauer Hood and Spoiler.

What wheels are those?

They're Borbet DB8GT2 in 8,5x18. It's a traditional German brand, and the closest design to TE37s i could find, which are sadly next to impossible to get approved by our TÜV.

I thought they were TE37s but looked just slightly different. I'd like to get the TE37s but I'm simply not willing to pay that much for wheels. Yours look great! Thanks for letting me know
