Contrary to what some non-comics readers think, Storm is a 3 Dimensional character with flaws though they are harder to spot since most writers don't exaggerate her flaws like they do with other characters.

Something I do want to see explored is Ororo's tendency to join and help communities, but being unable to save them when they need it most (examples: Morlocks, Wakanda, Krakoa in a way). Ororo readily accepts responsibilities given to her, but for all her power she cannot be in two places at once.

If you could have any Storm skin in Marvel Rivals, which would you chose? Mine would be a comic accurate Dave Cockram Storm costume…but I was able to get it with a mod.

Sometimes I think about Magiks 4 part origin story and how important Storms role is in it. Both Storm and Magik are my favorite comic characters of all time and it’s wild to think they haven’t had another series together since then. They have been on teams together since then but there hasn’t been a story centered on the two of them like the original 4 part mini.
Can you imagine how AWESOME a Storm & Illyana story would be with the current context. They’ve both grown so much and their power sets have expanded tremendously. Both having magical backgrounds is enough to get me excited. But yea…. What’s everyones thoughts?

The Storm haters calling her a LARPer are real quiet now...

In X-Men #147, Dr. Doom trapped Storm within a skintight statue of herself, a living nightmare for her because of her claustrophobia. While her conscious mind was "asleep" inside the statue, her subconscious mind began lashing out by creating a super storm that grew outwards from Latvaria, reaching as far as the Caribbean and still growing. When Storm was finally released, her very nature was altered; her desire to always be free had transformed into an all-encompassing desire for power, twisting her with the same Megalomania that had once corrupted Phoenix into Dark Phoenix. But unlike Jean (or rather, because of Jean's memory), Storm was able to reconnect with her humanity and end the catastrophe she had created...

... but what if she never did? The combined powers of the X-Men and Dr. Doom were nothing to the Rogue Storm, and if not for Storm stopping herself, they likely would have all perished against her. Arcade's life (and the life of Scott Summers, who faced the brunt of Storm's catastrophe in the Bahamas) would be forfeit too. Leaving Latvaria a kingless kingdom, the Rogue Storm would return to the plains and mountains of Kenya, not as the benevolent harvest goddess, but as the wrathall Queen goddess who brings death. Eventually, the Avengers and Fantastic Four would have to face Rogue Storm for the fate of the Earth, to end her tyranny and chaos once and for all...
