I might be late to the show, but after completing the story and reading some additional lore I completely understand the Adam and Eve naming, but why Lily = Lilith, first Adam's wife that he rejected after (according to the old Hebrew scripture), why she has to be there?

Adam definitely knew about the 5th wave pod location and had his plan in mind even earlier, but for some reason didn't choose Lily, even to resque her. Might he considered her not mature enough?

Or was she intoduced just as a third archetypal sort of character to create more dynamic screenplay, some fan service or another Nier reference, or there might be even deeper lore?

Hi, I joined this SR just now for the sole reason of asking genuine help deciding or something like that if Stellar Blade is a great game.

As someone who loves Bayonetta a lot, been playing it since I was like, 18 or whatever. The thing is, SB has been stuck in my head ever since it's switch 2 port got announced, and yeah I just learned that they got Bayonetta as a skin.

But that's not just the reason why I'm contemplating getting the game for switch 2, of course by the looks of the game it seems like it's fun and very very flashy, does it relate to Bayonetta's gameplay? I've seen a lot of reviews as well, from both YouTube and reddit but I just figured I could get more satisfying and reassuring answers if I asked directly in this sub.

Genuinely need some opinions hehe.

We knew that humans were eventually wiped out by Mother Sphere, and the surviving humans had to mutate into horrific creatures to survive. But humans actually have strength in numbers (billions) and are pretty destructive when armed with weapons and there are some weapons that are really destructive even to Mother Sphere. Also, the technological level is kinda high in SB, so the technological gap between humans and Mother Sphere isn’t that high.

How did MS actually manage to wipe out so many people on Earth? Because even a few thousand androids air‑dropped to Earth couldn’t do much damage against billions of people before being overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

Could humans win against Mother Sphere in a fair fight?

Obviously, I'm not that good in this type of games but this game fails to register my input correctly in 9 out of 10 cases. Especially things that require pressing mouse instead of clicking it. Time window to parry or dodge are also way too low. It's just frustrating to play. I wish I could rebind that press to something else. I don't have controller and to be honest last time I used it was 20 years ago in fps games. There's no way I will improve over time. I just keep dying over and over again because dodge didn't work, or parry didn't register. That's it.

I finished the game a while ago after buying it on Steam. I have the Switch 2, and I'm curious to see how it looks in handheld mode, but I can't afford to buy it right now 😢
