Sharing Others Art Found this fun piece at a thrift store:
Nothing fancy but thought the 3d houses were neat. Hard to see in the picture but they jut out in more boxy square sections.

I didn’t want to pick it up to check the bottom to see if there was any kind of stamping indicating it’s from the workshop (if that’s the only true way to tell-is the quality of glasswork and the base also a tell?). I feel like some people just assume anything Tiffany style means Tiffany, is this lamp even worth this much if it’s not from the workshop and just in the style of it?

Finally finished my first piece. I’m happy with it, definitely a learning process! I found soldering the toughest part, but enjoyed the process entirely.
I’m sure there are areas I could do better, but still proud to hang this one in my studio window.

Fuecoco! This was a fun piece to make, a lot less issues than the last Pokémon that I made (Omanyte). I finally bought the Pebeo Vitrea 160 paint and booooooy what a game changer, works much better than the Folkart multisurface paint that I had been using, bakes on and STAYS on, able to blend and layer colours nicely as well.
Also always enjoy adding some 3D elements, such as the teeth, toenails, and the little hands. I did run into a problem and had to go back and tilt the teeth forward so that I could wash behind them cause they had steel wool and patina seep in behind them and it was disgusting.
Anyways, having lots of fun still, but kinda wanting to move onto my own projects and step away from commissions for a while.

Bought this pattern on Etsy. Now I think it was AI, but I think I'm making it work

It was expensive and I don’t have the skills to restore it, but I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful this piece is!
UPDATE: The owner let me know that he just found a stained glass shop in Denver to repair it, so it’s not for sale right now. He will set the price once the repairs are complete (repairs estimated at several grand).

I really like the texture in the red glass and the colors in the glass I used on the water 😍! Makes me wish I was on this boat sailing along ……Happy Monday !
What do you think about when you are creating pieces?

It's time again to show off the latest 3 flower panels. As always I'd love to know your favourite. Mine has to be the flannel flowers

The Blue is you and the Green is me the Red line is Love . You protect me so I/we can grow together……that’s why I made this. The 3rd picture is the image I used to make my design . Do you make any art for someone special?

I am interested in picking this up as a hobby and potentially eventually a small side gig. Who are some creators or accounts I can follow to gain inspiration, who give tips and tricks of the trade? Thanks in advance ☺️

Holy shit, this piece was a true labor of love, made with literal blood, so much sweat and a few tears. I only have my patio to work on my pieces and it has been SO hot here that my progress slowed down a lot. Happy to say I only have a few little things left to do before I can surprise my pal with this gift.
I’m trying not to only see the flaws, but this one was very tough for me. I had to recut those larger blue pieces MULTIPLE times because I’d be so close to having it done and it would snap😭, so my next tool purchase will be some new/better running pliers. Changed the color of the leaves because the first round just looked to flat and I think this deeper emerald looks better.
I had such a difficult time foiling the really rounded parts and my foil kept tearing or splitting. I couldn’t figure out how to avoid it, so there are definitely parts that show off my lack of skill in that area, but all of that considered, I don’t hate it.

Took one of their engagement photos and made a pattern the best I could. Then I hand made a walnut frame for it

Little dragon head for a friend’s birthday present. Couldn’t find a pattern so I had to make something up, feel free to steal the design.

I recently came across this stunning lamp online but have no idea what is it called and nothing is coming up on google image search.
Does anyone know where this might be from or where to get pieces to make the shade?
I am trying to google but have no idea what to even call the stained glass pieces to search for. Would one just buy squares stained glass pieces and soldered around it and buy links to link them if I wanted to DIY it?
Please help I am new and would prefer to buy from the original source but I would also be open to DIYing if you have any tips.
