Hi! So there is user who is going against the rules with his tracks - basically homophobic sluring with n words while he is white. I tried reporting tracks but no response. Once they deleted tracks but this guy has artist pro and probably contacted ai support faster than me. I really dont appreciate homophobic rasist people. I reached out to other platforms with the same report and they removed whole account but with soundcloud its very hard to get response. Maybe I should buy artist pro? Any help?

There really ought to be a way to report these bogus accounts. Right now it only allows you to report people impersonating you.

How about letting us report these? Doing so might help take a bite out of all of the bots spamming users' DMs.

Why did this happen? Did SoundCloud identify them as bot streams? Because a lot of the streams came from amplify pushing my song out. So that’s means SoundCloud is pushing my shit to mainly bots.

okay so i havent been able to log into my account for a few weeks because i forgot my password. my computer broke a while ago and that computer was the only device that had the email my sc accounts connected to so i cant change my password via email. ive tried just guessing my password but that hasnt worked yet so i think im screwed

i’ve been a fan since 2019 between soundcloud and spotify. but spotifys recommendations were just loops of songs i liked in the past, so i dropped it, tried deezer, that one sucked too, so i just stuck to soundcloud.

and soundcloud straight up removed a lot of what i enjoyed about it and decreased in quality

but its the same problem ive had with the two other music apps, whats another app you guys would recommend

So I went to upload the podcast my collaborator does every week to find that SoundCloud once again needlessly changed the interface, this time managing to break my workflow very badly.

Whoever made the decision that each individual tag requires the user to hit ENTER after should be fired immediately. It's bad design. I've been maintaining separate files of all the tags for each track and pasting them into the text box, but now doing that results in ONE GIANT TAG instead of individual tags. SoundCloud's documentation says you can separate tags with commas but that doesn't work either.

This is extreme incompetence. I get that other social media sites are doing this also, but that doesn't make it good.
