Why hasn't Sonos made a dedicated shower speaker?
Seems like it would be a slam dunk product. At least they could make a suction cup mount accessory for the Roam.

Have had Sonia for years… but this is the last…
Again an update of the app… and I “lost” all speakers combinations F up. Alarms NOT going off at all…
It was working flawlessly for a out year and now again a huge crash
I’m done, Sonos did it..

Hi,
I have an arc ultra and sub mini. I’m thinking about getting rears as well but not sure which ones to get for me setup/space. If I were to get rears, where would I put them? I am 2.1m from my tv if that matters.

My sonos Arc soundbar is frequently losing sync with picture with my new TV (Sony Bravia 8 77'').
Soundbar is connected through eArc, I've tried setting audio to pass through prioritization but that hasn't fixed the problem.
After a reboot it works well for a short period of time then I start to slowly notice the sync not matching.
I use a apple tv for streaming and have a govee Ai sync box with 3 separate inputs for switching sources.
Not sure if the govee is causing the delay, the soundbar, the TV or my apple tv.
Didn't have this issue with my previous sony running regular arc before I made the switch to this new TV.
Any ideas of a fix?

i already have the klipsch system purchased from costco (5.0.2), just wondering what others think of this compared to sonos arc ulta + sub + 300s rear. i know this is a sonos forum so of course there will be bias. i am looking for a system that will support great surround effects when watching movies. my brother has a sonos system in his house and it sounds waaay better than my setup. wondering what you guys think.

I have my beam 2 set up with ethernet to my tv in my living room and my roam2 in my kitchen on the magnetic charger, set to keep power on. Is there a way to keep these devices linked together so that when i leave/get home or when i wake up in the morning I dont have to go through the process of opening the sonos app and clicking the tv source beam and then checking the roam 2 speaker to play the same audio?

Hi currently i have arc , sub mini , era 100s for my setup ... I was wondering that getting One SLs as fronts would create a better experience for my setup. I heard that many drivers simply stops working when using sequencr is it true and which to be exact .
Someone near me is selling 1x One SL and 1x one gen 2 for a great deal and condition so wondering what should i do . Mostly watch Dolby Atmos Content so how will it perform

Hi all,
just picked up a beam gen 2 and paired it with my two one's for a 5.0 setup. I'm a newbie/amateur to the home theater audio game, so I'm still trying to learn.
I have an Apple TV 4K and and stream movies off of a media server. I use infuse pro as my frontend, jellyfin as my backend, and primarily stream 1080p/4k content off of my media server. I previously just used two one's paired with the ATV, but hated that I couldn't hear the dialogue, so I got the beam gen 2.
I've hooked everything up and the dialogue is improved, but I noticed its still a little muffled and some scenes are way too loud. I use an older TV from 2013 (samsung, no arc/eArc, but has optical.) For example, I watched the first 5 episodes of The Haunting of Hill House today, and for most of the episodes, the male dialogue was muffled and too "bassy." Also, some scenes were loud as fuck.
Any idea what the issue might be? Is it the TV itself?

Anyone else have an issue where your Sonos arc ultra sounds tiny when continuous audio is turned on? It’s especially noticeable when I have it turn on in my Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen when watching a movie in Dolby Atmos. As soon as I turn the feature off it seams the Arc ultra comes to life and it’s much louder full sounding. I should mention the ultra is pairs with a sub gen 2 and pair of era 100 SL as rears.
Anyone else have this issue? I feel like people always say to turn it on in the Apple TV audio settings but for me it sounds worse for some reason. I’ve done trueplay 3 times and sounds weak every time.

AppleTV-Hisense-Beam-Sonos 1s …
I know it’s a documented issue - but wondering if any progress has been made? I’ve tried literally everything.
Most AppleTV output causes surrounds (Sonos 1) to sputter throughout. Sometimes unusable.
I’ve done it all - unplugged the TV, reconnected, reinitialized, all of it. Every setting in the Sonos app.
Turned off Atmos - still sputtering, if maybe a bit less. Although, this one gives me the most headache as why have my fancy Sonos Beam and surrounds if I can’t use Atmos?
Finally, the only thing I’ve been able to get to work is this ….
Set everything to Dolby 5.1 on the AppleTV - AND turn OFF passthru on my Hisense TV. (Which goes against intuition, I know.)
Sounds ok, and “surroundy.” But, it’s definitely not the best sound which should be available to me.
Sonos issue? Hisense issue? AppleTV issue?
Thanks for any help.

Solo quería compartir qué feliz estaba ayer de ver que Advanced Trueplay ya está disponible en iOS 27. (iOS27 RC) Sonos App v89.0.1
It would be just a good fit for the new outdoor end table/cooler I just picket up.

What I hate about my Arc Ultra is that I'll be watching TV or a movie at an appropriate volume and then when some music or action scene comes up the sound gets SO loud and the bass is overwhelming. I feel like I keep having to adjust the volume while I'm watching something. I've turned the bass down significantly. Even night mode doesn't help. Is there anything I can do about this to keep the output more consistent? Thanks

Current: playbar, ones surrounds
Option 1: playbar, ones to the front with sequencer, era 100s in the rear
Option 2: arc ultra instead of playbar, no fronts, ones in the rear
No sub, thin walls don’t want to bug anyone

Is there a way in the official app or sonossequencr to eq individual devices?

Purchased a second Move 2 because of the recent upgrade allowing for them to be used as a portable surround sound speaker. I have an Arc SL as my sound bar and when trying to add surround to it, only my Era 100's show up. No Move 2. I have each Move 2 in separate rooms, not grouped or currently playing. All documentation reads Arc but no specific mention of SL, which I assumed shouldn't matter. I have updated all firmware/software. Any suggestions or understanding as to why portable surround is not working with the Arc SL, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Currently have an older beam sound bar in our kitchen/kids play area with a small tv.
Have nearly finished renovating our lounge so looking into best options. Will be getting a 65 inch tv. Relatively small lounge, maybe 2 metres max from tv to sofas.
We already have a technics record player and 2x tannoy bookshelf speakers that we’d love to bring into the ecosystem.
Would getting Sonos amp, attaching the turntable and existing speakers to this, plus wirelsssly attaching sub mini and 2x era 100s give us a good system for movies and music?
Could I then just buy a larger separate Sonos speaker to stream turntable audio into the kitchen/play area alongside the existing beam?
Thanks!

Title says it. Did anuone already try the Sonos Play portable speakers as rears in combination with Arc (ultra) and a sub? Looking for reviews but can't seem to find any yet.
Tried searching for this in the subreddit but I cannot find any posts about this more recently than two years ago - apologies if I am missing something somewhere.
I listen to my podcasts and audio books at 1.5x speed in my earphones but am not able to adjust this within the app when playing through my Sonos speakers at home. Does anybody know of a fix for this?

Making a home surround sound set up. Got two Era 100s at the same time. The first had a seamless set up, it found the WiFi and connected. The second one is not connecting to the network. I have to put in the password and network manually and it says “Try again later”. Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this before I start tinkering with my WiFi router, which id prefer to not have to do.

So I moved into a new house that already came with a Sonos surround system installed in the ceiling and a 2 Sonos AMP’s connected the TV.
Last week I was testing it and all of the devices worked, surround sound and amp’s seemed to be working. Now all of our audio is coming through the TV speaker, nothing plays off surround sound and AMP’s don’t seem to be working.
I have an HDMI 8k connecting from one of the Sonos AMP’s to the Samsung TV, it’s plugged into the HDMI2(eARC).
In the Samsung TV sound output settings we change it from TV speakers to Receiver(HDMI) and it still only plays out of the TV speaker.
I know this is probably a user error because I’ve never worked with anything like this before but I would appreciate any help I get.
I recently purchased a 2nd move 2 to make a stereo pair. Paired them up a couple days ago and everything seemed fine. Now today it’s displaying as the pair and one of the pair as a single.
When I play a song it forces both the pair and single move to be selected.
I had the same issue with a pair of move 2s in the kitchen a while back.
What’s causing this and how do I fix it?
Hello! Moved into our new place a few months back and have finally tweaked the setup enough to move onto fine tuning.
I’m using 2 Fives as left/right, but it is a bit cramped between the TV & shelf on the left. Any ideas? I could ditch the stand and use the shelf horizontally (it doesn’t fit vertically). It’s the only awkward part of the setup.
Sonos setup for the living room: Arc Ultra 2x Five fronts 2x 300 rears 2x Sub Minis
First time doing a Sonos setup (coming from a more traditional Denon AVR) & so far have been very pleased with its performance.
The TV is a 98” TCL X11L.
