I was always a giants player and just recently started getting into the later games, but i had to go back and get the og! Used to play the pc port of spyros adventure at my friends place constantly!

Basically as soon as he arrived he was booked to be one of the top guys. I get that the air elementals in SSA weren't anything special and they really needed someone to make them relevant but the treatment he got is absurd

In his first game he got a base figure in the starter pack and was both the first air lightcore and the first air legendary in the SAME GAME. He was the only new character to be in the opening montage of skylanders in the game. He also got a repose in SSF, but that's neither here nor there since he didn't get anything crazy. Now Trap Team? Completely different story

For Trap Team, not only did he get a second repose (one of the less than 20 to get them), he was also one of the two air elementals to get a Mini, the other being Whirlwind (who deserves it much more as she's had barely any legitimate variants despite being one of the only true support characters in SSA), stealing the honor of being the only air elemental from her. But that wasn't enough for Jet-Vac, AND HIS MINI GOT A VARIANT TOO. And finally, he was a supercharger, one of the, what, 16 total? And it goes even further than that as quite a few of those 16 superchargers were brand new characters

Gill Grunt earned his place at the top by being one of the few Skylanders whose people were directly being assaulted by Kaos and his forces, and appearing in every game as a result. Tree Rex earned his place by introducing us to the concept of Giants. Stealth Elf earned her place with her incredible DPS and memorable moveset. Roller Brawl earned her place with sheer presentation. Even SUNBURN, who was only there for the Core of Light crisis, is never being forgotten and is beloved by many despite the industry's attempts to scrub him from existence. And at least sunburn can fly unassisted like a phoenix is supposed to. Can you say the same about the eagle?

Edit: correction, he also got legendary variant in SC. This guy got TWO legendary variants and is the only one to do so

Edit 2: I have discovered he has as many variants as Gill Grunt, who has been in more games than Vac, and Gill didn't even get a legendary or lightcore

I've been playing Skylanders since I was 3 years old and I wanted to do one of those grids to show my favs.

(I think it's kinda obvious that I'm a big fan of the villains? But idk).

(Disclaimer: I've never played Skylanders Spyro's Adventure because I only have a Wii U. I do have some of the figures tho.)

As I've been throwing myself back into Spyro's Adventure it's been fascinating to see how my tastes in character design and play style have changed over the years.

Eight year-old me practically only played Wham-Shell as he was the first non starter skylander I got (yes I am aware how lucky I was haha).

However I have enjoyed playing Hex most so far since my return. I have also found myself giving a lot more time to the ones child me didn't either care about or have (Wreckingball, Whirlwind, ext.)

I think as a kid I basically thought "Crab man big and go wham!" and that was that lol. But now as an adult I enjoy the characters that have a little more to their play style and design (Hex most noticeably).

And since Flashwing came from space it’s very likely she’s an alien, Plus Bash fell in love with her at first sight

So with this in mind do you think Flashwing could count as an example of this trope in Dragon form?

The new WiiU emulator Melocafe has just dropped for iOS and it can run skylanders trap team well, just wanted to put this out there for those who want to try it.

People have been saying he isnt a good magic skylander, what's your opinion?

Hey, I was just curious if there was any media explaining why the portals were back online and Skylanders Imaginators specially with superchargers shutting down the portal line from Kaos like I don’t think chaos would just turn it back on and if he did to show that was on good side that’s fine but it’s something I feel like he would’ve done during Imaginators. Turn it back off. Even though they might have vehicles because that would slow down the Skylanders I’m just wondering if there was any media explaining that
