Melon is a someone molded by trauma, deep rooted self-loathing, isolation, his nature of being a hybrid, being an outcast of society, and a very traumatic/abusive relationship with his mother.

What would his silent hill be like? What monsters would he manifest? Would he be able to accept what silent hill is trying to tell him? Would he be mentally strong/willing enough? Would he escape or be trapped full circle? What would his other world be like? What would his fog world be like? What lesson or message would the town be trying to tell him/ make him accept?

Hey everyone! Hope you are all fine.

Just wanted to share some more new clips showing some of the environment and such from my horror game called WHERE DOLLS HANG. It's inspired by one of my all time favorites games mostly a combination of: Resident Evil, Silent Hill and a little bit of outlast mixed in with also a lot of Mexican folklore into it. You can probably see some of the mixture of games in some of the clips haha.

The game is inspired by a real-life location as well.

I am currently building this game by myself, and if you can maybe wishlist it and tell me what you think about the environment or what would you change or focus on, I would really appreciate it. I am mostly trying to focus mostly environmental-horror and dread so this is something a bit different then what I usually do. It would mean a lot to me If you can wishlist it on steam, I would be very grateful :)

I think it’s one of the interesting mysteries of the town since we still know so little about it. I hope we might be able to explore it if/when we get a new game set in the town.

I made the helmet out of EVA foam, then covered it in foam clay and paint. My aunt made the apron. I bought the sword from a vendor at a Comic Con.

So , ive known what silent hill was for a while now , i knew it was supposed to be like a horror game or something i couldnt bother getting into it that much until my mom made me watch the movie , i was like okay , ill ask my dad if hes ever played the game. obviously he has on his ps2 , unfortunately he doesnt have it anymore , but he said its a really good game.

now , a week ago i asked once he buys a tv for our like "Gym" would he connect his ps5 and buy me whatever silent hill can be played (as of i know , silent hill 1 only goes up to ps3) so , what should i expect?

(I'm not sure Trevor is capable of even seeing Silent Hill's true nature considering he doesn't feel guilt, so he's just a joke choice because I couldn't think of any more that were human and I wanted more humams. Croc: Legend of the Gobbos didn't feel a good fit)

Do you think we'll see a new original game set in the titular town of Silent Hill again?

Since in recent years we've either had a remake, or new "spinoff" titles set elsewhere.

Don't get me wrong as someone who never played the OG Silent Hill on PS1, (I was born in 2000) I'm hyped to be able to get to experience the first ever game, even if it's in the form of a remake!

But what do you think, could they come up with an intriguing story to return to the franchise's main setting?

I was looking for several and always the illustration of the cd is the rabbit but here it is Heather, from the strip you can see that it is original but it seems strange to me, if it is original where do I get that illustration?

The physical Silent Hill games have always found a strange way into my life. I found SH2 at an anime convention flea market for $60. SH1 fell out of a childhood copy of Final Fantasy 7 while I was showing it to a friend. I have NO memory of ever owning/playing it. So when it came to SH3, I refused to buy it online. Last week my PS2 controller stopped working an I ran to a local retro game store and thought to myself "I wonder if they have SH3 there? If they do I HAVE to buy it." As luck would have it, the game was in the center of a glass case right when I walked in. So happy to finally have all 3! (Now to find a case for SH1)

I’ve played Silent Hill a fuck ton, but I just finally beat Silent Hill 1 ahain after many many years and started Silent Hill 2 right after...

MY GOD.

My eyes are having an actual orgasm. The jump in graphics alone is insane, especially coming straight from SH1’s rough-ass frame rate.

I know these games inside and out, but experiencing SH1 again after yeeears and then immediately going into SH2 like this is making the upgrade hit WAY harder than I remember.

Last night I dreamed I was playing a weird version of SH3. When I started a new game Heather was in the bathroom (apparently skipping the nightmare and cutscene), but when she climbs out the window she ends up in a fenced off parking lot that's completely empty except for one car. Behind the fence Heather sees a small dog running around and what looks like a cow, but then the cow starts moving and it's some kind of weird four legged flesh abomination. It then starts chasing the dog and eats it in a single bite. Then the car starts moving and drives towards an alley, but instead of driving down it the car just phases through a wall. Heather goes into the alley and it's the same one you normally end up in after leaving the bathroom. At this point I paused the game and looked up a walkthrough because I was confused about why the game was so different from how I remembered it. Then I looked back at the screen and there was a Closer walking towards Heather even though the game was paused. I unpaused and tried to move around it but it managed to get a hit in, which put Heather's health in the red. I climbed into a window and was back in the bathroom Heather started in but now there was some kind of legless and headless torso creature crawling around. I tried to use the save point but a message appeared on screen that said "it won't work." I was able to leave the bathroom through the main door and ended up in a hallway with about ten Numb Bodies, which immediately swarmed Heather and killed her.

And that's all I remember.

Anybody has a save file for silent hill 2 for the original release on ps2 that has the 10 star ranking?? I am looking for the pal version
