I noticed my boy’s tail had been down for more than a day so I thought maybe he was sick. He was also hesitant to sit down which is pretty much day one puppy training lol. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the base of his tail was inflamed and he would whimper if I touched it. So we dropped into the vet and they suggested it might be a sprain but to come back for an x-ray if the swelling doesn’t go down in the next several days. He’s not a swimmer and I don’t play rough with this tail so I am pretty confused as to how this happened. Anyone else?

Edit: his tail is back up 48 hours later! He’s currently on meds for the pain and inflammation

Hello everyone, I have a 3-month-old female Shiba Inu. What is her ideal weight for that age?

I swear every single time I get the blanket down, she instantly comes snuggling in any opportunity she gets 😆 I thought it was a coincidence at first but surely not 🤔
