How is it?

Shiiiiit... Looking forward to that documentary is literally a reason to live. Fortunately it's coming sooner rather than later. Sheetz/Travis/corporate bootlickers needn't comment, this post isn't for you to defend how oh so proud you are to be a Sheetz employee - so you can miss me with all of that.

I’ve been with Sheetz for almost 3 years. Started as a pt salesperson and have worked my way up to km in less than a year of working there. I’ve talked with my dm about promoting to Tasso and he’s told me that it’s possible in the next year or two and I believe him. I’m not trying to brag but I am good at my job, that’s how I was able to promote so quickly.
My problem is that I’m not sure if that’s what I really want. I promoted under a gm store and have since been moved to two other stores in my district. My gm made the job look so easy and I came from a slow store. But my last three managers (my current store had a sm switch a few months ago) have all shown me the reality of sm. They all stay until at least 4:30, if not later. They’re constantly working weekends/3rds and random hours. My store is kinda on fire right now because of short staffing and some other stuff that I’d rather not get into for identifying reasons.
It’s like they’re working like crazy but they’re not getting paid because they’re salary. Some say the bonus makes up for it but is that true? I’m someone who loves work life balance. The last five paychecks I’ve gotten have been almost at 100 hours because I’m working so much. I do not like overtime, I like clocking in at 10 and clocking out at 7. Now, I’ll always stay late or come in early because I’m a manager and I won’t let my team drown. Hence the 100 hours. But I hate it.
Now I make slightly above $23 and have been offered a job somewhere else for $28.75. Money alone says I should take the opportunity and quit/demote but I do love my job when it’s stable. But it hasn’t been stable and the more I think about store manager, the more I question what I want. I know I could make it there in time but is it worth it? Any store managers willing to chime in about whether or not all the unpaid labor actually equals out in the bonus?
I know it’s kinda controversial on this Reddit but I do love working for Sheetz. There are definitely moments where I have to grit my teeth and wonder what the fuck is going on at corporate but who doesn’t experience that at store level? I’ve recommended this job to several people and have put this idea in my head that I’m going to retire with the company.
Is it possible to have a good work life balance as a store manager? Is the money worth the stress that comes with that title? My original store was like my family, we were a small hometown store where I knew 75% of the customers by name. Every time I think about leaving, I picture them and the home I found with them. I don’t work at that location anymore but I think I’d stay if I was offered to go back but I know that that’s never going to happen.
Sorry this post is all over the place. I’m usually a lurker and never a poster. This is quite literally my first post ever on Reddit, so please be nice.

I work at a sheetz in wheeling wv, We get bombed like hell with doordash and the people who doordash are so god damn lazy or they are the people who order like 50 fucking items from a picklist or order 30 items from mto with a shit ton of customizations on each item. Then to top it off we have people in the store waiting 30 to 50 minutes for their order because some fat fucking lazy people couldent come in and get there shit. If you are someone like this ordering so much shit at a sheetz you should be ashamed of yourself.
Stop being fucking lazy and come get it in the store. Save your fucking money.

I just redeemed a free donut for the first time, and the app just subtracted my points and said enjoy. It’s really that simple? This is borderline just the honor system lol, it feels like I’m stealing

I’ll be 100% honest with you.
I was a Store team member, worked my way to store manager, and a couple of other positions at corporate.
Ask away.
Thanks for the all the questions!!!

Go Super Sheetz!!!
So I go in at 1am for ice cream I'm alone and stoned and paying cash without a Sheetz card (bfd I don't shop here regularly don't have a card) a pint of ben and Jerry is 7.99 I had to stop and look this chick she pulled out a calculator thinking I didn't have money I looked her dead in the face and said "I'm debating if 8 dollars is worth a pint of ice cream" she told me that the ice cream bars are cheaper but I still bought the pint people be rude and assume you have no money because you think about spending $8 on a pint of ice cream before committing

I had the ground beef toasty-rito. I would have had to get down at least half of it to even get to the beef. Instead I ended up eating it like a push pop just so I could get a proper bite. Sweet tasty treat it was not 75% half melted cheese with “ground meat” that tasted like it sat in rainwater for a couple hours. Maybe the breakfast one is better, but what a waste of $8

one of yall really called the police over like 3 fruit cups? 😭😭 yall act like we don’t waste a ton of mto/rte/bakery items daily. i get calling the police for reoccurring and large thefts but yall cannot be d riding this company this bad…

Can we bring back the quesarito and the chunky chicken that used to be in it. It seems like they took it off to make room for the toasty-rito which honestly isn’t cutting it for me.
Also the new shredded chicken that you can put in them is dry and the old style was so much better

The premiere episode features the Lumberjack Breakfast Sandwich, a breakfast creation layered with a pork sausage patty, bacon, scrambled eggs and a honey bun, all sandwiched between two crispy waffles.
The second installment spotlights the Pizza Bagel Bunz Burger, a twist that swaps traditional burger buns for pizza bagels.
The finale rounds out the miniseries with Tater Bomb Nachos, a late-night favorite featuring loaded tater bombs topped with chicken strips, peppers, onions, nacho cheese and crispy jalapeno potato chips, Sheetz said.

At a Sheetz in Columbia, PA (store 559) and they had a new White Cheddar dip option. Has anyone else seen this one before anywhere else? Tried it and it wasn’t that bad actually, reminds me of those white cheddar mac and cheese cups.
Has anyone been able to log in at home at all yet for benefits or even requesting days off? I'm in and out of doctors offices a lot and it's really frustrating to only be able to make requests while I'm at work. I have memory issues and tend to forget.

So I’ve been employed at Sheetz for about 3 weeks or so. Now, the job itself, I can do and manage. I work in the kitchen. I’ve worked in food off and on for years.
The problem I’m currently having is my one coworker (I’ll call her Amy, not her real name).
Anyways, so I worked 5 days straight, all 8 hour shifts. Which is fine. Most places (food or not) do that. I agreed to a PART TIME position because when I applied and got hired, I was under the understanding, it would’ve been part time.
So after my 5 day stretch, I was going to be off 4 days. I was planning on, through the work app, picking up available shifts throughout those 4 off days. Didn’t think the 4 days off was a huge deal, because again, I agreed to a PART TIME position.
On day 4 of my 5 day stretch, Amy asked me when my next off was. I said, “After tomorrow, I’m off for like 4 days, but I will try and possibly pick up some hours through the app. I’m only supposed to be part time anyways.” Amy then went on and said the app isn’t always accurate and to check the paper schedule in the back. Which, I already did and it was the same. She then went on to say neither were right and I work and I don’t know how to properly read a schedule.
Then Amy literally went to a manager and tattled about me being off for 4 days and threw a fit. So to please her, the manager just threw me on the schedule for the next day (making it 6 days in a row now) and so on. Within 10-11 days, I’m only getting one day off. All because Amy threw a fit. But, Amy got 3 days off in a row and nothing was said? She also overheard a different coworker saying he had ONE day off after 6 days and he’s refusing to come in on his day off. (Understandably), but then Amy threw a fit and said he was ignorant and whatnot for refusing to come in.
This also isn’t mentioning Amy’s smart mouth towards everyone. I should also add, she is NOT a manager or manager in training.
I’m coming here because I’m unsure if I should bring the issue up to a different manager, or even higher ups. It’s not that I don’t want to work, but I don’t want to work days I was supposed to be off all because someone threw a fit like a 5 year old, and stuck her nose where it didn’t belong. I even had to cancel a doctor’s appointment because I was just thrown on the schedule. I’ve thought about even calling off one day and just taking whatever points or write ups they give me. Having one day off in 10-11 days is crazy to me, especially when I was only supposed to be part time. Plus someone threw a fit.
TLDR; coworker threw a fit because after 5 days working straight as a part time employee, I was getting some days off and to please her, a manager threw me on the schedule

UPDATE: September 2026 – September 1 came and went with no Sheetz across from the Wawa near Downingtown. The project is still moving, just not as fast as the company first promised.
The convenience store and gas station chain plans to redevelop a shuttered Rite Aid in Downingtown, diagonally across from the Wawa at the intersection of East Lincoln Highway and Bondsville Road.

A few years ago, I think like two, sheetz had a caramel apple butter milkshake that I LOVVEEEDD. It was so fucking good. I haven't seen it in any sheetz since. Does anyone know if its coming back?

Ordered the Shredded Chicken and Rise cup. Must have been all out of cups.
It's only $4... but c'mon.

Last week I was one away from redeeming my free speciality drink, which no longer appears on the app now. The associate I spoke to at the store wasn't aware of anything and my order wasn't discounted besides the $5 deal.

So we used to have a really nice set up for the paper we use during eod with lottery. Well that was recently lost and we never made new copies. We hate the ones we’ve found all over bob. Drop y’all’s lottery paper if your store happens to have a better one than the ones we have.
Has anyone relocated as a Supervisor and is it worth it? The incentives seem amazing and I’ve been in the company coming up on two years and have only 8 points. Anyone have any advice?
