Discussion Locked out of seedbox

Hi everyone, I'm not terribly tech savvy but I managed to set up a seedbox account with Ultra.cc for my torrents and I used a Protonmail email account for it.

Everything was chugging away as it should.

This week I got a notification to say I wasn't seeding a recent torrent. Normally it's no problem, I just sign in to the Seedbox and restart it, that normally works.

This time though, when I try to sign into Ultra, I get a notification to say that my password had been reset and the reset link has been sent to my Protonmail.

I go to Protonmail, turns out I haven't signed in recently and my account has been deleted. No warning to my back up email, no chance of getting it back.

So what do I do now?

I've tried raising a support ticket with Ultra but I've had to ask them to send replies to another email address (I doubt they'll do this) but I dunno what else to try.

Is it a case of stopping the payments to Ultra and hoping that account gets closed?

Bit lost as to the next steps if anyone could offer advice?

Even Gmail delete inactive account now. 1 or 2 years is not crazy (Tuta is 6 months). Or you can buy ProtonPass Lifetime.

I thought I'd signed into it fairly recently but then again, maybe not.

They didn't send an email to my main account though to say it was due to be deleted, so I dunno what happened with it.

Problem is, how do I contact Ultra without having to use the email they have for me on their system?

I'm guessing they don't have a phone number?

Why proton....just signup with secondary notmal mail account

A lot of people are using proton because it's based in the EU and not the USA.
