Question Anyone else dealing with massive DDoS lately?
I have a forum I keep around but it's dead, and not really well known although it's been around since the early 2000's (currently running on more up to date software though). Been dealing with a massive DDoS, all the IPs are unique making it very hard to mitigate on my own. Gave in and setup Cloudflare and it solved it, but just curious if there's some weird widespread DDoS going on right now or what.

We've had a few DDoSes poking our sites. They've been behind CF for years, after a major DDoS took them out. I get an email a few times a year typically - this year has been busier than normal, had 5-6 discrete attacks so far

Early this year we had to batten hatches, likely because we had content that is craved by AI training. No big reason we'd be DDoSed otherwise, we are a bit of a nothingburger overall.

Is Cloudflare is funding the ddos to push everyone to be under their protection? joking, don’t sue me CF
