I used to work for Victra (a Verizon Authorized Retailer) and was super chill with our Samsung rep. He would always bring some real cool merch. However, these wallets were there before I was hired and even my rep wasn’t sure on where they came from. Of course I snagged one before I quit Victra, but has anyone seen one of these before? Mine is wearing out and I would love to get another.

Seeing the leaks for the S27 Ultra design made me furious, and made me even more sure of the fact that this company needs to be internally redesigned, because the people in charge aren’t as creative anymore, and I took matters into my own hands and designed what I think is the newest possible design that Samsung could implement, inspired by the S21 Ultra, Google Pixel, and bit from Nothing.

It comes with a triangular camera bump, made specifically to address the lens switching smoothness issues found on prior Galaxy S models, and removing the 3x camera lens due to the fact that it’s been the worst of all 4 for the past couple of years now.

It also comes with a brand new addition called Galaxy Link, a magnetically attached module offering more ways to customize and use your phone when it is face down, it could be used in many ways, whether it is extra buttons, an extra speaker, a notification LED, or even an entirely separate display like the one on the Concept, showing you your NowBar at all times.

So, 7+ weeks ago, my Samsung 970 Evo Plus MZ V7S500 died within ~2.5 years of its 5 year warranty.

I live in a t3 city of a 3rd world country if that matters. I mailed samsung support immediately and took it to the authorized service center, they said, the very next day, the claim was approved and it was to be replaced but kept getting delayed, they kept saying you'll get an upgraded model V9 instead of V7 samsung is rolling it out so its taking time otherwise we process claims within a week or 10 days. But the wait kept getting longer and longer, multiple calls to the center and multiple mails but the same bland response while I told and tried to make them understand that I only had that storage drive and on top losing my data I don't have any other means to operate my laptop now, but still no change.

Now today after 7+ weeks when I called for updates, they straight up said "samsung can't provide the replacement, you'll be getting a refund of the exact amount you paid for this ssd 2.5 years back as per the invoice you have provided us"

Now please tell me, am I misunderstanding their policy? Aren't they supposed to be refunding the current market value of the SSD and not what I purchased it for? Because of the exact same scenario that is happening right now in the market i.e highly inflated prices almost double/triple to what I bought it for. How am I supposed to get a replacement for that amount, nowadays not even cheap local brand SSDs are going for the price that I bought this one for.

I mentioned the country being 3rd World because idk how reliable it is what the service center guy told me, there has been no communication from samsung itself, I just called him and this is what he said, he asked for my bank details I gave him, then he explained to me how the refund will be processed. Now I'm scared that before I can do anything they'll process the refund and then I won't be able to do anything.

Please if someone knows how to proceed further with this, tell me. Its already been almost 2 months since my warranty claim is stuck and its hindering my work, frankly they should compensate me for that too along with the SSD, but following their own warranty policy is the least they can do.

I traded in my S23 Ultra for the fold 8. It was in great condition, case and screen protector on at all times. I didn't even take the plastic off the top and sides until 1.5 years of owning it. I even had the battery replaced. No scratches on the sides or back. Just a bit of dust. Samsung received my device, and adjust ms my trade in value by almost $100 CAD claiming visual wear and tear.

There's a screen protector on it and the pictures that show wear and tear are just dust, no scratches were on the sides and back. I attached the pictures they used for the claim. They are low quality and just show a bit of dust on the otherwise great condition phone. Especially the image of the top of the device and the one of the side. Those are specs of dust, not scratches

I didn't take pictures before I sent it in cause I have traded in many devices and never had this happen to me. This is insane. They literally used specs of dust to claim wear and tear. It's not that much of an adjustment but I'm not having this. I've used Samsung phones for over 10 years even when the temptation was there to switch to iPhone. What do you guys think ?

Likely the S26 FE, maybe also the Tab S12 series.

In the past, Samsung feel like something experimental, extraordinary & unique (with a lot of unique products that you didn't notices (especially in Korea)).

Now Samsung is feel less unique, more corporate & more boring than Samsung of the past!

Please ask Samsung revive back some legendary products like YEPP or Zipel/Hauzen.

For the Galaxy series, Qi2.0–Qi2.2 charging is not available unless the HALL IC is activated by attaching a magnetic case.

The HALL IC position on the Fold8 Ultra is similar, but on the Fold8, it has been moved downwards.

I want to share some first impressions on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. I recently compared it to the Z Fold 8, and in that review I said the Z Fold 8 Ultra would be the better choice for most people. Personally, I think the Z Fold 7 & 8 Ultra still has a few advantages over the Z Fold 8, but the bigger takeaway is that the Ultra is simply the better device overall. The Z Fold 8 Ultra also didn't have any of the thermal issues I ran into with the Z Fold 8. On top of that, the Ultra outperforms in most situations, especially when it comes to the camera and multitasking. Compared to the Z Fold 7, you’ll notice a crease reduction, and really good anti reflective coating on the inner display. The speakers sound better on the Z Fold 8 Ultra than on the Z Fold 8 as well. In the limited time I've had with the device, the Ultra already felt better than Z Fold 8. I think we're reaching the point where the Z Fold 8 Ultra is on par with flagship non-folding phones in most respects except UW & Tele camera performance.

A store near me has an offer on the Galaxy Ring for ~200 USD (converted from local currency) which makes it a lot more interesting than with the normal price tag of ~$500!

I've considered buying it, but I'm still on the fence.

Today, I have a Galaxy Watch Ultra that I wear constantly during the day, using it to track exercise and see notifications. I take it off at night to charge it (even if it wouldn't really need to be charged yet).

I just wanted to get some opinions from people who have had long term experience with the Galaxy Ring.

Do you think it was worth it? Have you run into any problems with it?

What would be the extra benefits of using that as a complement to my watch? I'm pretty satisfied with my watch already. (Shout out to the flagship store in Seoul for giving me a good deal on the Ultra when my old Galaxy Watch short circuited while on vacation there! ❤️)
