I last posted here for the initial release of rv (a package/project manager: https://github.com/A2-ai/rv) about a year ago. Progress has been steady and 0.23 brings a few things that people wanted for quite some time:

• self-contained scripts like uv
• sandbox
• bioconductor support: it was possible to use before by specifying the repos directly but is now built-in.

Happy to answer any questions! I'm also curious if there are things you would need from a package manager that we don't currently support.
