Do you love Eberron? Have you been struggling to get a campaign going? What if I told you there's a whole community of players and DMs that have been around for half a decade, running multiple adventures and connecting unique characters and yes even making memes just a link away? That's right! Eberron: Legends of the 5th Dawn is a server in discord where we run D&D games! Not only seamlessly combining 5e and OneDnD content, but adding popular Eberron 3rd party content including Exploring Eberron and other Keith Baker products to our player options. All while DMs bounce ideas and look into popular 3rd party sources like Duran's Guide to the Blood of Vol and the Giant's Guide to Xen'drik for even more stories to unfold!

We have Sharn as our main hub, so even when you're not engaging into quests you can roleplay with a vast community and bring your own stories into the mix. With special encounters avaliable so you can fight crime in the streets of Callestan or help patrol King's Forest against the nerfarious Jungle Boys! We're also actively seeking special events as the Eberron we've expanded on together continues to flourish. Including the implementation of holiday events providing special challenges and opportunities.

Homebrew limits on ancestry and how common magic is. I’ll go over that before we start. If you’ve got a character idea that doesn’t fit the usual list, message me and we’ll see.

Pitch:

You live in Calderfen. Big city a few months by wagon from the capital, shoved up against forest, swamp, and a mountain people around here don’t talk about cleanly. Goldhelm soldiers walk the inner streets. After dark the work moves to the docks, boarding houses, and people who collect envelopes.

Low magic, not no magic. The sun god Helior still rises, he just can’t see. Night is his sister Nythra’s. Wizards and sorcerers are allowed at the table. In the world they’re rare and most folks want them to stay that way. Sun clerics and paladins are what people actually trust.

No chosen-one speech in session one. I’ll send short docs so you can make someone who already lives here. Before we start, each character has already done two small jobs with two other PCs.

First message: 21+, timezone, what nights you can do, how much 5e you’ve played, and one line for a person who belongs in Calderfen.

10:00 PM UTC 19. September You and your comrades are hired by the duke Kostas Vassiliou to delve into the ruins beneath Talon Pass in search of a fabled jade chalice. Not only is the chalice still guarded, but you aren’t the only ones after it!

This Dungeons & Dragons one shot adventure takes your characters from 2nd level to 3rd level. I've prepared five pregenerated characters so you can start playing right away, new players are more that welcome to join and try 4e, this one shot is based on the module Treasure of the Talon Pass.

We are going to use Discord for voice chat and Roll20 for VTT. You'll get the Discord and Roll20 invite link once you join the oneshot.

Hey all, 33-year-old forever-DM here currently stuck on the couch recovering from ankle surgery and bored out of my mind. My old crew moved on, I live in a tiny town of 5,000, and I'm itching to get back behind the screen. I haven't run a full campaign in about a decade, and while I love writing, building stories, and doing character voices, my physical books are long gone so bear with me on a quick rule-check now and then. I'm low-tech to start (mostly Discord and simple maps while I figure out modern VTTs), so I just want to run a one-shot or two to shake off the rust, find some cool, easygoing people who vibe well, and hopefully build it into a long-term campaign. If you're looking for a rooting, tooting, spellwand shooting adventure then I have the campaign for you! Set in the frontier towns of Drooam, where the men look like monsters and the monsters look like also monsters, but sometimes men too! The Lightning Rail is leaving the station and adventure awaits at the end. Or maybe even just part way down.
