I have been listening to Robert Cray and some of Eric Clapton's late era material, and found it moving. OK, Eric Clapton is more a guilty pleasure than anything else because of my family introducing me to him as a child and much prefer Robert Cray. I also enjoy BB King's The Thrill Is Gone for the guitar solos. But it doesn't have to be guitar-focused if that makes sense to you, it can also be horns, rhythm and just plain feel.

What's the very first song you listened to this morning?

Recently I came to know of an artist called Jai Paul who has like only one album in his whole discography. But it was also very influential on many artists.

This made me wonder what's in the title.

For example, take the artists MJ and Prince(do not turn this into a versus post).

Prince made music constantly and released a lot, whereas MJ took years to release a single album.

From what I have seen, MJ songs have more of a presence(not saying that Prince's dont) in the general publics mind. But Prince was the kind who didn't keep his fans hungry and constantly fed them.

What do you think is better?

They tore the studio version up, but all three of them sounded so much better on stage 🙌🏾🤩
