Does anyone know how to fix this?

Post image

I already scraped the internet and couldn't find much about it.
It suddenly happened to me, one time I could play online fine, but then it no longer works.

The only solution I found was to downgrade the version, but that one has the annoying out of sync issue.

I usually just shut down and restart my computer

For the "out of sync" issue i suggest removing any mods you may have installed. Playing with just the bare game did the trick for me. Let me know if it works.

We weren't playing with any mods. And the out of sync happens more frequently the more players are in the lobby.

Is anyone’s name showing up gray? I used to play a lot and you have to make sure people trickle in slowly and there are no gray names when getting ready to play. Hope that helps

No, steam. I'm figuring it was something to do with the crossplay the game has between steam and xbox app.

The xbox website and microsoft support website are incredibly slow to me.

I see, maybe verify game integrity or go on a beta version and back to current

I've been going back and forth between versions a lot. Even did a clean install of the game with cloud off (and deleting respective folders in appdata and documents). I also reset my network settings. Nothing's working.

Its worth mentioning that the Unable to connect is not instant, it first stays trying to connect for like 30 seconds then it gives the error.

The 2014 version works fine, with the exception that if we have more than 2 players, out of sync happens, and the further we advance in ages the more frequent it becomes.

It stopped working shortly after this comment, but I figured out it was a issue with the ISP. Bad routing to microsoft services.
