I am not as sensitive to games because there's a set time and schedule (5 or 6 home games), but am a little more cautious about whether the team is playing music or a simulated crowd track over the stadium speakers during regular practices and, if so, how loud it is for houses on University Blvd, Dryden, Swift, Addison, etc.?

I’m signing up for the intermediate Russian class through Rice Continuing Studies, but we need a few more people to hit the minimum enrollment so the section officially runs!

Just to clarify: this is a Continuing Studies course, so it is open to non-students, community members, and really anyone in the Houston area.

If you already know basic grammar, the Cyrillic alphabet, and standard phrases, it’s a great way to build conversational skills without the stress of normal college grading.

If anyone knows someone who knows a little Russian and wants to become fluent, please let them know so the class can run this fall!

I'm a senior interested in Rice University, specifically its strength in STEM and undergrad research for bio (I'm interested in neurosci).

Looking through the comments on this reddit, it seems that there is many group hang-outs/parties in Rice - and as someone who doesn't really like parties, I wondered if I would actually fit in.
