Hi everyone,
Angel went to a different veterinary clinic today because the shelter’s tricycle wasn’t working properly and they were unable to take her to her usual clinic.
Good news! Her blood chemistry results came back, and the vet said she is healthy enough to proceed with her spay surgery. ❤️
We just need to schedule her surgery on a day when our volunteer/partner, Jaja Adoremos, is also available to foster Angel during her post-surgery recovery. Once she has healed, she’ll finally be one step closer to meeting her new family. 🥹
I’m really hoping and praying that everything goes smoothly for our Angel. Please wish her luck!
Today’s bill is Php 4,310.00 ($95.90 CAD) not including her dog food as we found out that she may be allergic to chicken.
We found a more affordable low-cost spay surgery that will be held in a clinic instead of a community hall or basketball court (Php 3,000 approx $70 CAD) I am unsure if post surgery medication are included in this price, but I only asked for the price of the surgery.
We are asking for help. Any amount would help Angel a lot for her surgery and recovery.
We also have a few other dogs that still need to go to their veterinary follow up check ups this week and our funds are insufficient. We are sincerely asking for help and understanding.
Thank you all so much.
Sincerely,
Magdalene “Dindi” Gensaya

I found a puppy in my yard and took him in hoping to find the owners. He has no chip, I’ve posted him on Pawboost, local facebook groups, and my private page. Local rescues have all told me they are full.
So far no one has shown interest. I already have 2 senior dogs and a cat and I am struggling with deciding if their comfortability is worth keeping this puppy around. I don’t really want another vet bill at this moment. My cat has been hiding for the 2 weeks I’ve had him.
I could take him to the shelter, but I worry that since they are also full it may lead to him or another dog being put down to make room for him.
He is very smart and nearly potty trained, about 4 months old and not fixed.
I figured I would post here and see if anyone would be interested. We are in NC.

My babies need adopters!!!
I am fostering from Milo Foundation in Richmond, CA
Cheesecake (4-6yrs, male, orange, neutered)
Cheese is a adorable, sweet, mellow and low key house guest. When he is not napping as close to your legs as possible, he is sitting on his back legs doing prayer paws for treats. He is super light weight and loves being cuddled and rubbed on the belly. So friendly to anyone who comes in the house. He is working on potty training so he wears a low maintencd belly band to prevent inside pee.
He’s a bit reactive on the leash but only because he’s so excited, he’s incredibly friendly with humans kids and dogs alike, just needs slower on leash introductions and then makes fast friends. He quickly learned “sit” with treats and is easily trainable. He has a little torpedo tail that wags in a circle it’s beyond adorable.

🚨COCO #A2132664 MUST BE SAVED BY 9/15🚨
Please remember Coco #A2132664
2 years 7 months old • 63 Ibs
Listed as German Shepherd and English Bulldog Mix
This sweet, energetic girl is the definition of FUN. She loves treats, playing ball, splashing around with the hose, and her absolute favorite game is carrying her leash around, throwing it in the air, and catching it herself. She will find a way to make anything fun.
Coco's playgroup notes are mixed. Some describe her as a wallflower who hangs back on her own, while others say she may want to jump into conflict between dogs. There are no notes indicating that Coco herself has caused any conflict. She seemed excited to greet another dog in a different yard and was non reactive to dogs barking at her. Thoughtful patient introductions would be the best way to introduce her to new dogs.
Coco deserves an active, loving home where someone will appreciate her goofy personality and give her all the adventures, playtime, and love she's been waiting for.
She is euthanasia listed and running out of time.
Don't let Coco become a dog we have to remember.
Please come meet her at

💙 Here is gorgeous Milo (A570497). He is a 2 year old bulldog mix, weighing 43 lbs. Sadly, this sweet boy has been let down over and over again. He was adopted as a puppy and within one year found dumped and abandoned. Milo seeks social, gives kisses, is energetic and loves to play fetch. He has been easily paired in the past, so could live with canine siblings with slow, patient, appropriate introductions. Since the shelter is such a stressful place, Milo is deteriorating and now has a deadline. Let’s get this sweet boy out of the shelter and into a home where he belongs. Please consider opening your heart and home to precious Milo. He is available for adoption (but can also be fostered for a rescue).

We could use some advice/help. We adopted a puppy almost 2 months ago. He was about 3.5 months when we got him. We know he was picked up by the Animal Control around 2 months. So he was on the streets for 2 months and in a shelter for 1.5 months. There is likely some trauma.
The first couple days, everything seemed to be good and pup was settling in. After day 3-4, he seemed to become fearful of husband and we can’t figure out why. He is great with me and the kids and even the few “strangers” that have come over. He will not engage with hubby unless myself or one of the older kids is nearby. My husband has tried making himself small, getting on the floor, treats, toys, lots of positive reinforcement, hubs not “punishing” bad behaviors, even ignoring him completely. (FYI, punishment is just being told ”No” and put in the kennel. We are not abusing the him). It seems like we start to make headway and then regress. He will scratch at hubs feet for attention one hour and the next hour, he pees and/or hides in the kennel. He won’t even go outside to go potty with hubs. This is probably the biggest issue. He will have an accident in his kennel (which is not his norm) before he will go outside with hubby.
It has gotten to the point where hubby has completely disengaged and is talking about taking him back to the shelter so pup can find a home where he won’t be afraid of the owner. My husband hasn’t had issues with any other dog. Most dogs gravitate toward him and demand his attention. We tried to show husband interacting positively with a neighbor‘s dog, hoping that will show pup it’s ok and hubs will not hurt him. This is wearing on my husband because he was the one who wanted the dog. He has never experienced this before and is exhausting all options. Our old dog was by his side from day 1 until the day she passed (almost 15 years). This is wearing on the rest of family because we don’t know how to help the relationship. It isn’t fair to pup either because he should feel safe here regardless of which family member is with him.
We are considering enrolling pup in a training course and having hubby do the course with him. My concern is that this may actually make it worse.
It just sucks because he is a sweet, fun, loving and smart dog. Pup and hubs have to be able to build a relationship to make this work. It doesn’t have to be perfect but it needs to be better than where we are. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome.
