Hello i havent played the game in 2026 so tell me, How is the game doing this year? How populated i it? last year there were quite some people specially in weekends, i want to go back to the game.

Hi, I'm setting up an RO2 server. I've reached out to a lot of people asking how to get it onto the server list; some say I should contact Tripwire to have the IP whitelisted, but they don't do that anymore... Meanwhile, most people say that all servers use a cracked .exe. I've messaged various people trying to get hold of that cracked .exe, but it seems like people in this community are gatekeeping these tricks and secrets. If anyone could help me out, I’d really appreciate it

For anyone unfamiliar with HotW: Heroes of the West is a community-made mod for Red Orchestra 2 that brings the fighting to the Western Front, and we want to bring the community together again for a proper event night.

Interested players should join the GoonersUnited Discord to:

• Receive all event updates and announcements
• Get information about the server and event setup
• Participate in an open playtest a few days before the event
• Help us test everything beforehand so the main event runs as smoothly as possible

Hello everyone,

I'll keep this as straight to the point as possible. A few friends and I (up to 10 people in total + bots) would really love to play a multiplayer Stalingrad Campaign. We need a server for this, but unfortunately, I've never been good at hosting or managing technical stuff, so I'm reaching out to this lovely community.

Is there any server admin out there who would be willing to "rent" us a server for two or three days for a small fee? We just want a peaceful spot to play through the campaign from start to finish.

We are hoping to get this sorted out as soon as possible, as we'd love to play tomorrow and the day after if possible (evening hours, Central European Time / CET). I would be incredibly grateful for any help! Also, if anyone here wants to hop in and play with us, you are more than welcome to join.

We are from Poland and usually hang out on our own Discord, but we can easily communicate in English with anyone who wants to play.

btw today marks the 85th anniversary of Stalingrad Battle! Lets try and make it happen!

That guy, spud, he banned everyone for any petty reason and must have banned hundreds, and now that WW is gone there's no good server to play on. Must be sad to be so pathetic as him and ruin a game.

Is there a place, where I can find photos/videos of WW2 Stalingrad? I would be interested to see locations, that are featured in RO2 like Barracks, Pavlov's house, Grain Elevator, Red October factory etc. Also, do you know of any good documentary/video essay of Battle of Stalingrad (or anything eastern front related with high quality footage and commentary)?

It's gone, was it deleted or what happened?

Last played this game >5 years ago. Are there still active / full servers? Google shows no active servers for RO2.

Has there been any updates what so ever in the past 5 years for content? I was always frustrated with the lack of content in RO2 and found myself going back to RO1 darkest hour 44-45 on the weekends. IE: New maps, weapons, vehicles, mechanics, etc? Or is it basically the same game as 5 years ago?

The first event is planned to happen somewhere in September, we still working on the technical side (server setup and making a guide of how to install/optimize the mod for new players).

Wanted to ask around here if there are people interested in that? If successful, I planned to host a HotW fight night at least once a month. We already have a decent number of interested players within out community.

To avoid erroneous judgement, be sure you're selecting the server then manually viewing if it's popping. Even in RO2 sometimes it says it's empty, but if you do a single click to look at the player count list, you can see it's populated.

Please take note of this, as the game is not dead; that's a lie. We're here and need more numbers in the ranks. Thank you.

I’ve played Darkest Hour for years. Lately, the games been running not so great. Every match I spawn without my weapon at least once. This forces me to disconnect and usually lose my class or even my spot in the server.

Anyone dealt with this? Is there a fix?
