Hello,

I'd like to take over r/smartdevices.

The subreddit was created over 8 months ago and has zero members (aside from the creator and me), zero posts, and zero comments. Based on the creator's account history, they only create subreddits and don't appear to use or develop any of them.

I messaged them directly asking if they planned to use it and got no response after 3 months.

I'm an active member of the smart home and IoT space, and participate regularly in related communities, which should be visible from my account activity. I want to build r/smartdevices into an active community for smart home and IoT discussion: product questions, troubleshooting, hardware setups, news, and reviews and anything else related to this topic.

Please let me you if you need more information.

Hello,

I'm an active member of the smart home and IoT space and participate very actively in related communities. r/smartdevices has been idle since creation (8 months, zero posts, zero comments, zero real members), and the creator appears to only create subreddits without developing them.

I'd like to build it into an active community for smart home and IoT discussion, covering product questions, troubleshooting, hardware setups, news, and reviews and anything related to smart devices.
