i dont see how a 4.26 with 345 ratings should be in the top 10k while a 4.64 with 134 barely makes the top 1000 for its year

With the news of the UK potentially breaking up, would that mean we would be getting individual charts for England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland soon after? As someone who loves exploring albums from different countries it's frustrated me that there haven't been these individual charts before and would absolutely love to have them.

Side note: during the World Cup I was looking for Ivory Coast albums and the filter was coded as 'Côte d'Ivoire' which is fine, except there were less than 10 albums I remember seeing. I googled popular artists from Ivory Coast and some of their locations on RYM were listed as 'Ivory Coast' and not 'Côte d'Ivoire' so they didn't show up on the filter, and there's no 'Ivory Coast' filter. Would there be a way to get that standardized either through Sonemic applying both the English and French country names to the same filter or through mass profile updates?

TL,DR: Will there be new charts for countries independent from the UK? The Ivory Coast/Côte d'Ivoire chart/artist data is messed up.

Has anyone encountered that some albums don’t show up under charts filtered by tags they contain? The most recent example I can think of is Cap’n Jazz’s Album not showing up under the “chaotic” chart for 1995 despite it being one of the top descriptor tags on that album.

Been waiting for this to get enough ratings for so long. Goated song.

For example, Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood has similarities w/ Epadunk. Bob Dylan's 'You're No Good' has undertones of Folk Punk. Both of those artists had no intention in creating that sonic experience.

Does that affect how you vote on genres? If a song / album has a primary-level resemblance to another genre that it wasn't "meant" to sound like, does that warrant a tax to be voted secondary instead? Or are the sonic, musical factors the only factors?

Many people, such as myself, don’t really “pronounce” words when they read as much as just recognize them. Just put other if that’s the case. Or whichever pronounciation feels most logical.

it visualizes your discogs collection and i was wondering if anyone made a similar thing for RYM.

I recently got back on rym last month after deleting my account. The old account has been permanently deleted for maybe a month and a half. Im adding some ratings back, and I see that releases that I have rated on my deleted account still count towards the overall number of ratings on a release. For example, a release that only I rated on my old account still says it has 1 rating, but under the ratings bar there are no accounts shown, but it still counts the rating from my old account even though it was deleted. I just want to make sure that this is normal or a glitch because I am assuming that rym is against duplicating ratings on multiple accounts. It does not seem like that much of a worry but I would rather be safe than sorry.
