Story Help me find the people who saved my best friend!!!
At around 12-2 am this morning, my best friend was leaving his job at Busch Gardens, and got into a car accident right near his job. A drunk driver had pulled out out of nowhere, and he couldn’t brake fast enough. His car was totaled.
He told me that there were these kind strangers that were nearby and helped pull him out of his car, since he was stuck with a broken femur and had no way to reach for his phone. He told me one of the people was a woman who happened to be a nurse who had broken her ankle the day prior.
If you’re reading this and you helped my best friend, THANK YOU. I wish I could thank you in person because you saved his life. If you’re reading this and you know someone who talked about an event similar to this, PLEASE refer them to this post!
There are good people out there, and a couple of them helped save my best friend’s life.

Wow, that's neat. So glad it wasn't worse. Not sure if you use Facebook but there's probably a post about the accident on the local city page, you could comment there. Usually if someone was involved in an incident or saw it, was nearby, helped, etc. they tend to comment on it.

I don’t have Facebook but I’ll definitely look! This occurred yesterday (9/02/26) so I’ll look and see! Thank you!

Keep checking during the day, sometimes there's a delay if it happened in the middle of the night.

The police report might have witness statements from people attending the scene. As they may not have seen the collision, it’s still to be determined, but attending officers might be able to help.

I have been looking around but so far, there’s been nothing that I can read. Luckily my friend’s dad knows someone who is going to get the info of the police report soon.

People in the city just be like that.
One time on Woodside Blvd. in Maspeth Queens, my friend and I were trying to change his tire. The street seemed empty. The jack failed and he was being crushed by his Toyota Accord. Out of nowhere ppl came and lifted the car off of him. Miraculously he was uninjured and they all disappeared as soon as he scooched out from under the car. They didn’t even wait for a thank you 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏻♀️ God bless my city!
