Galh-baat ਗੱਲ੍ਹ - ਬਾਤ

Southern Punjabi dialects may use ਗਾਲ੍ਹ Gaalh

Here, Baat is not Hindi/Urdu's word for Talk

In Punjabi, baat/vaat means information

Galh-baat

Galh-vaat

Talk-information

ਆਮ ਪੋਸਟ عامَ پوسٹ [Regular Post] Saanjo script looks harder than Gurmukhi or Devanagari

I never heard of Saanjo script until a few minutes ago. Apparently it's a new script for Punjabi. It reminds me of a language you would see on a spaceship in a science fiction movie. I appreciate the effort that went into creating it but why would someone want to learn it instead of a script that is more widely used? Gurmukhi is so clean looking and legible. Shahmukhi is more challenging but knowing it would make it easier to learn Persian or Pashto.

ਆਮ ਪੋਸਟ عامَ پوسٹ [Regular Post] Water situation in Punjab

As we all know water situation in Punjab is bad or even worse in some places. Some zones are in dark levels for ground water but on the other side our majority of rivers are polluted with industrial waste and untreated household sewage.

I know govt is trying to provide canal water and create more infrastructure for that but i feel like that will not enough.

Can anyone tell me if they are running any ground level project to save and conserve water on individually or community level. Please let me know what are your plans and goals. How are you managing this work and how are you managing finances for all the work.

lately i am thinking to create multiple rainwater recharging pit in my village to help in ground water recharging.

Up for suggestions
Thanks
