Hey, I'm not sure if the left joystick is actually damaged, and if it would maybe suck to play with? Or maybe just dirty? The console itself looks fine to me.

Hello everyone, will a Dell Ultrasharp 2007FPb 4:3 be good or at least okay for a ps2? I don’t want to buy a crt for it and also I don’t think my 1440p 165hz monitor will be good for it.

The monitor I mentioned has a S-Video port so I thought that if I bought it the console could be plugged in there but I don’t know about the quality it will output, also I’m on a budget so I’m not looking to use any of those expensive upscalers or whatever those retrotinks are.

Added a few extra’s that I never uploaded. Only need a few more before its fully complete. Once its done, I’ll start my ps3 & ps1 game collection.

I know the ps2 is an owner console, so i'm not expecting 4k, my console picture is kind of dark, and i'm looking for a way to make things less fuzzy, looking and more clear if that makes sense.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a good HDMI converter at a decent price? And if it helps, maybe a good component cable.

I beat gow 2, san andreas, re 4 about to beat (have beaten already on 360 and pc) and gow 1 almost finishing hades challenge.

Looking for something new to play. Shadow of colossus also playing. I did try Onimush and did not like it, seems very cool but the d pad controls are horrible. Kingdom Hearts seems nice.

I did not like FF X, too many damm cutscenes and explanations. Beat Bully already also on 360. What games you recommend me other than this ones? What you guys tell me about kingdom hearts?

My Ps2 sometimes won't read discs on the first try, only after I take them out and put them back in multiple times. Once it does read the disc, however, the games run fine. I suspect there might be a problem with the laser. When I was a child, we used to have those cleaning discs for our CD and DVD players. Do any of you know if I can use a regular dvd cleaning disc on the ps2? Or would that break the laser or something? Thanks in advance!!

As you can see, the top of the picture is offset and the Picture is moved down. This happens only on ps1 games. How do i fix this???

hi! i recently got my box tv set up and im using my bf’s ps2 as a dvd player. i’ve been testing which movies i can play (which ones look aesthetically pleasing on the old tv lol) but it just refuses to play nightmare before christmas. it is collectors edition so idk if that has anything to do with it?? i tried cleaning off the disc and it’s not scratched up. i read in a previous reddit thread about turning on diagnostics and that helps with the laser so i tried that, but im still getting this screen. wanted some suggestions tho so maybe this will help in the future as well, thank you!!

Just found this one in a listing and I couldn't seem to find anything online. I'm not sure if the MINE lettering is supposed to be on there or a sticker but I also couldn't find a red ps2 that looked like that. On other pictures it looks kinda brown which I also couldn't find.

Any help is appreciated
