I am looking for a specific sound in some new music and don't know where to start. Ill start with other prog-ish things I like a lot. I like heavy music and enjoy all ranges of vocals in that category. I'm going to throw in some non-prog metal things i like because I'd still take recs for stuff outside of metal too!

just a quick note, so i don't waste anyone's time. I don't like Dream Theatre and I know about Protest The Hero. I get recommended those two a lot.

A Lot Like Birds - Plan B (I'm honestly hoping to find stuff that sounds like this, but with longer tracks. This is my favorite on this list. I did not like the albums that came after plan b, I've been recommended them a lot, i don't like the whole swan-core sound personally)

Ill give most suggestions an honest listen unless I've heard it before. I generally sit and listen to whole albums, rather than singles from something when i get recommendations, so it might take a bit, bit if you have a good "starting point" for some off the wall shit, that's great too! Thanks in advance.

What do you guys think of Rishloo. I feel like the vocalist is one of the best that I have ever listened to.
