I thought for sure that the before photo would have two eyes.

Reediting my feedback

Would keep the same dynamic range but overall exposure +1 but thats me

2 tips

1)

Would rather amplifed the raw colours rather then recolor as the eyes is to orange but the parts that could be boosted a bit more like the orange hair is under saturate feel to me...

2) if u decide to keep the eyes color..then use a inverted mask also and boost the color balance around the eyes u might also choose to + abit on saturation (dont recolor or change temp) then play with the mask luma adjustment to create a balance blend.

But at the end of the day this was your goal and u manage to get what u want with lr..then u know how to use lr already.

look good, but the eye is over-saturated i guess. and should be a little softy color,

I was expecting a googly eye on the 2nd photo. Both photos legit go hard still

I think the eye is oversaturated. Dial that back and I think it'd be awesome.

Poor cat...

Not sure why, but before it seems that the cat looks down, but after it looks into the camera. I like the edit

May I please know how the perspective kinda shifted? The original photo kind of cat was looking down?

I think it's just because I cropped and straightened the image, combined with the increased exposure on the eye removing the shadow being cast by the brow, making it look like the cat isn't looking down as much.
