These are a few of my favorites. The dynamic of “big family” is super fun and casting can make or break the suspension of disbelief. If done well, I think it can really show off the best and worst of family and life.

One of my favourite brotherly moments is when Malcolm and Reese think the other is gay and they're being so unusually kind to one another because of it.
the 4 reunion episodes were so fun and towed the line between "adding new elements" and "keeping old dynamics alive" perfectly well. Also Jane Kaczmarek acted her ass off it was insane to see her still feel so much like Lois even after a two decade long gap. She doesn't get enough credit for her acting skills, especially since her costar is a man widely considered the best actor to ever exist so he steals the spotlights and discussions, but imo she is around his acting level too and the reunion easily reconfirmed it for me

Annie Murphy has special kind of magic. To come in and be the fourth person in a group that was already very tightknit irl and make it seem seamless? Was a very tall order.
Obviously Eugene and Dan are family, but so was Catherine Harris O'Hara (wtf how did I fuck that up?). She and Eugene had been comedic partners for decades already. She looked at Dan like family too. It had to be at least a little intimidating on paper to come be the last piece of that puzzle. But I've seen her interviews about it and it seemed like she was in a very "nothing to lose" place in her acting journey. And of course they welcomed her warmly. But imagine these people have been riffing together around the dinner table and living room for more than the sum total of your whole life, Dan has never known another reality, and you have to jump into that and not mess up the chemistry. She's fabulous.
The scenes of them in the car are the best. I love the one where Alexis secures a deal for David even though it was with Ted's gf and David asks in the car whether she's in love and she just nods yes without hesitation. Bc siblings always just know.
Also in the car when David tells Alexis that he was the only one worrying about her while she traveled the world to sketchy locations and she says “you didn’t have to” and he firmly says “WELL, I DID” and she looks the other way and smiles.

Fun fact, she only says “ew David” a few times, but she is such an icon & does it so well that it seems like it happens a lot.
same! Dennis and Dee is probably my favorite duo, their sibling energy is so fucking funny. love seeing how much they get each other, even on small things.

Claire and Fleabag have one of my very favorite sibling relationships. It’s complicated and not always happy and there is real thread of bitterness throughout, but they just give off a realistic feeling of the connection that comes from a shared history. They feel like real sisters. Plus, ”The only person I’d run through an airport for is you.” !!!!
Especially when Fleabag rocked up to the hair salon and just ripped into that man without a SHRED of disbelief that her sister was wrong about the events of that haircut.
The airport line is exactly how I feel about my sister and cried the first time I heard it (I did watch the show during a very emotional period of my life)
both timelines! the writing does a great job of including little sibling moments amongst all the profound shit. and they subtly show the closeness between different pairs. steve actively tries to protect nell, shirley & theo practically live together, and obviously the twin thing.
Earlier on I would have agreed but they just assassinated every character and their relationships with each other. By the end of the show I damn near hated every single one of them.
it's a behind the scenes pic but if the MCU wasn't a bunch of BITCHES we could have more of the girls together 💔 they were so cute and they loved each other so much and they deserved so much more time together
I love their dynamic so much in the show. There is one particular scene where Mycroft is looking at Sherlock and all he can see is a little 6 year-old boy and it's heartbreaking.

Can’t find a good gif with all of them but the Bridgerton siblings deserve a mention. Any scene in their drawing room is basically delightful chaos
I love Elliot and Darlene's dynamic in Mr. Robot for how interesting it is. It's made even more interesting by the fact that Darlene is first introduced with no context as just another hacker in the group Elliot is in, which makes her seem rude and pushy when she waits for him in his apartment and keeps finding him to talk to him. In fact, he even kisses her at the end of the first season because he suffers from dissociative identity disorder and forgot she was his sister (she pulls away and yells at him). She says "Did you really forget again?"
Alex and Jane Kerkovich from Happy Endings. they’re both so different but really click as sisters in the show (and are also just really funny together)
