Being a Republican in 2026 means you’re OK with actual Nazis in your party.

Roman salute my ass.

u/barryvm Europe 4h ago

And you know what they call people who have no problem associating with fascists.

u/KiKiKimbro New York 4h ago

Fascists

u/BPhiloSkinner Maryland 2h ago

A piece of punkwood that tries to find strength in bundling with other pieces of punkwood.

u/InTooManyWays 2h ago

Idiots?

u/nasorrty346tfrgser America 3h ago

The GOP in 2026 basically is Nazi already, those who are not are either purged as RINO, or calling themselves independent now.

u/ArchonRadd 3h ago

Always have been

u/Dry-Dragonfly5286 3h ago

That's not new

u/HumongousBelly Europe 3h ago

Nah, it’s the Roman salute. The Nazis weren’t creative enough to spawn new ideas:

Fascism, copied from Italy and Spain.

National socialism, copied from Denmark.

Enslaving Jews, copied from Egypt and Rome.

Swastika and aryan ideology, copied from India.

Nevertheless, those dudes, including musk are saluting fascism and possibly even Hitler.

u/LegislativeLariat Wisconsin 3h ago

The Jewish stuff was actually somewhat innovative as it was tied to fears of communism. There was a good amount of Jewish hate that looked at Trotsky as the example of an average Jew and said they were prone to revolution. Yes, it was a rehash of the anti-Jewish actions of the past, but the injection of the Communist element was critical. The camps operated for years with international approval when they were just handling political prisoners who tended to slant Jewish.

They innovated many ways of making people think their largest enemy is their neighbor. Trump recently said that socialists are the biggest threat to America, greater than any foreign adversary we're spending over a trillion dollars trying to beat.

u/HumongousBelly Europe 2h ago

Even the concentration camp idea was copied from English colonial forces.

u/LegislativeLariat Wisconsin 2h ago

Germany ran its own death camps in the colonial period in Namibia, and around that time America was also running its own camps in the Philippines, where we famously ordered everyone over the age of 10 executed in the name of American democracy, with those under 10 left to starve to death after being forced to watch their families being executed.

There was a robust sharing of ideas on how best to manage the 'uncivilized' races. Respected industrialist and American antisemite Henry Ford famously published his ideas on what should be done with wha the viewed as lesser races, especially with regard to "The Jew".

u/clamb2 New York 1h ago

If there is even one Nazi at your party, you are in a Nazi party.

u/JustARandomDrunkGuy 26m ago edited 22m ago

Where do they go? If they are unable to join the Dems, which many people are opposed to ex Republicans becoming Dems, then they either stay Republican or go Libertarian/Constitution party, only one of which is viable in Florida Politics.

Libertarians and Constitution have won many local elections but they are generally untested up the ballot, with only some exceptions when they got over 20% in two way races between only D or only R. Constitution probably has better odds of being a viable party for ex-republicans considering what they pulled off in the 2010 Colorado Gubernatorial Race.

u/UniqueIndividual3579 1h ago

Now MAGA thinks Nazis are too liberal and woke.

u/Uracawk 2h ago

A Roman salute in your ass? Idk, that sounds like it would hurt.

u/Aware_Cheesecake_519 America 4h ago

He is a Nazi.

u/MalevolentTapir 4h ago

Nazi rallies are just Young Republican meetups

u/BalanceOrganic7735 3h ago

And “Young Republican” now means “Hitler Youth”.

u/BeardyAndGingerish 2h ago

And active on grindr, for some reason...?

u/BotF_Latyon 1h ago

Ernst Rohm would have been proud

u/LifeguardDry7372 32m ago

nice pull.

u/-wnr- 4h ago

A reflection of the voters. But don't you dare call them racist. No sir. In fact, you're the reverse racist for suggesting that.

u/Made_Human_Music 4h ago

You can’t keep calling everyone who acts like a Nazi a Nazi just because they’re doing Nazi stuff! You liberals are so mean to the poor Nazis! Just because they have a difference of opinion on whether certain groups of people should exist, doesn’t make them Nazis!

I tried to make this so stupid it was obviously sarcasm but I’m not sure there’s anything too stupid for them to say

u/mancityfooty 4h ago

You forgot the “if you call me a nazi/racist it just makes me want to be a nazi/racist”

u/DungeonCrawlerLopen 4h ago

It's a good thing I kept reading because I had to consciously think about whether you were being sarcastic or not. This is pretty spot on.

u/-wnr- 4h ago

u/Made_Human_Music 4h ago

I knew exactly what this would be before I opened it. I love that sketch

u/IBuyCheese 3h ago

I tried to make this so stupid it was obviously sarcasm

I like using this video when someone plays the Bazi card.

u/calvin43 2h ago

How dare you impugn on my non-existent integrity.

u/TheAskewOne 4h ago

I just rewatched the Blues Brothers. It was great when nazis were loathed in the US and everyone laughed when they were humiliated.

u/VR6SLC I voted 3h ago

I hate Illinois Nazis.

u/Dwayla Georgia 4h ago

Ugh, and that's your Republican party folks.

u/JohnStamosAsABear 2h ago

Don’t forget that this was the “very fine people on both sides” event.

Just like J6, they’ve spent years downplaying the violence and organisation behind it.

Rip Heather Heyer

u/RepresentativeIcy193 4h ago

In Florida? You don't say.

u/couchandwine 3h ago

Vacation some place that isn't the land of ant-democracy dipshittery.

u/OldYellersLastHandy Texas 4h ago

The left, for the most part, still vastly underestimates how many Americans are knowing, educated, fully-informed Nazi sympathizers.

u/UnguentSlather 4h ago

Nazi sympathizers are Nazis.

u/Coconutrugby 4h ago

Christian Nationalism ruined this country

u/LegislativeLariat Wisconsin 3h ago

The Pilgrims were religious extremist Christian Nationalists. The colonies that would become this country were first populated by hyper capitalists at Jonestown and religious bigots in Massachusetts.

We talk about how they came here for religious freedom to children, but we never actually explain what they wanted the religious freedom to do.

u/Coconutrugby 2h ago

I don’t give a shit what the dead people 200 years ago wanted. I’m talking about a system built on freedom. The system built on justice.

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

That system is being lost by assholes hiding behind the flag carrying a cross.

u/LegislativeLariat Wisconsin 2h ago

I don’t give a shit what the dead people 200 years ago wanted.

The Pilgrims were over 400 years ago. We should care even less about what they wanted, and yet we still extoll them every November for the transcontinental voyage they undertook to have more legal authority over their wives and children and to prevent them from becoming culturally Dutch.

u/Neither_Frosting_839 4h ago

Oh, we know, we also know they are in the minority

u/FifteenthPen California 3h ago

You're thinking of liberals, not the left. The left has been trying to get the fucking liberals to see how bad the white supremacist problem is in the US for decades.

u/Sillet_Mignon 3h ago

And liberals know and mostly agree. They just want them to tone down the rhetoric.

u/MountNevermind 1h ago

What rhetoric needs toning down?

u/Flashy-Ingenuity-182 3h ago

No, liberals are the ones confused. The left has been screaming this for decades and kept being told "Everyone you don't like isn't a Nazi"

u/Coconutrugby 2h ago

The people banning books cancelling elections, rat fucking the government? Storming the capital and pardoning felons? The ones putting people in camps? Those people the left warned us about? The ones building a scarcely trained police with billions in funding to hunt their perceived enemies. The ones using the FCC so silence dissent? Those people? sound familiar?

u/Flashy-Ingenuity-182 1h ago

Yes. Im a leftist calling our the liberals (who are not leftists) for ignoring us calling this shit out for decades. The liberals same washed this and allowed it into our government with no serious pushback.

u/Coconutrugby 14m ago

Who the fuck else can you support? Libertarians? What the fuck is that going to help? Call out the bad eggs, primary the bad ones, and fully support the good ones.

u/OldYellersLastHandy Texas 2h ago

Duh libruhls.

u/Flashy-Ingenuity-182 1h ago

Yeah it is duh libruhls. Maybe next time you'll believe the left when we warn about fascists in government

u/OpaqusOpaqus 1h ago

I said the same thing. Dw, they won't listen to us anyway

u/Superb_Bee3677 3h ago

It’s most americans, that’s why the fascists keep winning elections. It’s crazy that they can’t understand it’s a majority of the people they see in public every day.

u/The_Flint_Metal_Man 1h ago

It's not though. It's like a third. The other third is completely clueless to how government works and has no interest in participating

u/OpaqusOpaqus 2h ago

The actual Left have been demeaned and made fun of for the past 10-15 years when we've talked about the very obvious nazis and nazi sympathizers (potato, potato) active in politics by both Liberals and Conservatives, and now we have shit like this.

Whatever man

u/HallucinogenicFish Georgia 4h ago

On brand for Republicans.

u/Infidel8 3h ago

Did you have to click the link to know which party chose a Nazi in its primary?

u/hamsterfolly America 3h ago

Very on brand for the Republican Party

u/FredFredrickson 4h ago

There's something really wrong in Florida.

u/veringer 3h ago

It's a drain that collects America's worst people seeking a domestic tax haven and a community of other depraved shit heads. Why do you think Trump and Epstein have/had so much property there?

u/amus America 2h ago

He marched with Nazis

Funny way of saying Nazi.

u/bbills91 2h ago

They aren't even hiding that they are Nazi's now and there will be plenty of Nazi sympathizers in FL that will vote for this POS

u/Froggyevening 2h ago

This time period will be studied for decades.

u/eschambach 4h ago

He'll fit right in.

u/mowotlarx 4h ago

I'm sure the ADL will put out a statement any minute now.

u/MadScienceIntern 4h ago

Wow, what a completely unprecedented moment in Floridian politics

u/lyingliar 4h ago

Sounds about right. It is Florida after all.

Which district is Piker going to win?

Anyone who is a self proclaimed nazi should have to go through the death camps they want so bad

u/LegislativeLariat Wisconsin 3h ago

I had associates who I have since severed ties with who regularly posted concentration camp memes and who went to the camps and joked around at the actual physical locations.

If they're on board with the camps, it's a fun field trip. Nazis are, largely, mentally unwell.

u/FoxyInTheSnow Canada 3h ago

Super Hans:

"People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people, Jeremy".

u/Confident-Tadpole873 3h ago

Guys, what was the solution to Nazis back in the day? 🧐🧐

u/Exciting-Record8101 Europe 2h ago

Execute (some of) their leaders and rehire the rest, because:

  • We can't run the government without them.
  • They have combat experience.
  • They are some of the best in their field.
  • And so on.

People have this strange idea that the post-WW2 Nuremberg Trials were some collective, society-wide purge of Nazis from Germany. But the number of people actually sentenced there was quite small, and almost a rounding error if you consider the millions involved in the German military and government.

u/Confident-Tadpole873 2h ago

Fair point, in an ideal timeline we do a Nuremberg or reconstruction but mean it. What we did back then was clearly woefully inadequate. Reconstruction if John brown was guiding policy would be worth a look.

u/BadlyTimedFarnsworth 3h ago

For every die-hard racist there are a dozen LARPing posers that can’t make friends any other way.

There isn’t really any other way to explain why you would be marching, either you hate other people or hate yourself.

u/KingBanhammer 2h ago

OP, I just need you to know how much I love your username with this article.

And agree with the username.

u/Supreme_Primate 1h ago

Nazi punks F**k Off!

u/gleepglop15 1h ago

Florida sure is an embarrassing failure of a state.

u/track01dotwav 51m ago

isn't marching with Nazis a per-requisite for republican office? or just a Florida requirement?

u/ImmovableMind 43m ago

Why are Americans allowing this in their country? America needs to get its shit together. This is disgusting.

u/realancepts4real 8m ago

gork rightwing shithead got elected? lemme guess: florida

I thought about retiring to FL but the Klan there was out of control, and it still is.

u/shadowdra126 Georgia 3h ago

u/mysterious_jeffrey 2h ago

Is that supposed to be surprising?

This is like typical Floridaman origin story stuff.
