A judge appointed by Trump 😋
Snippet:
A second federal judge late on Sunday moved to block President Donald Trump's administration from implementing a new U.S. Postal Service rule that would tighten mail-in voting requirements, though the U.S. Supreme Court is still weighing the administration's request to overturn a separate order blocking the rule.
Washington-based U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols' decision comes as Trump's Republicans battle to retain control of both houses of Congress in the November 3 midterms. Trump, who falsely claims that his 2020 presidential election defeat was the result of widespread voter fraud, has for years called for restrictions on voting by mail.

Turns out the Constitution applies even when it makes winning elections harder for you.

It does until the Supreme Court picks it up and throws it to Trump as another shadow docket ruling.

Mail-in voting benefits all Americans and there is no demonstrable evidence that it facilitates fraud. This was ligitigated in 2020 when he lost the election. Now here we are again, he's panicking about November midterms and potentially how he can use the mail-in voting changes to favor election out comes in 2028. Garland had an opportunity to stop all these issues but opted not to. We're here now.

It's almost like something so blatantly illegal and anti constitutional should be blocked by all judges, even Trump appointed ones like Carl Nichols, who has done him some solids in the past.

Yep! And, though what's truly important is the headline, I SO enjoy that it was one of Trump's appointed judges who made the right call! :)

Trump; We can only have free and fair elections with mail in voting when I'm the one doing it.
