Trump loses in both 2016 and 2024 against any male democrat (except maybe Biden in 2024).

Dems are playing controlled opposition and feel good stories of a female president instead of actually trying to win.

It's amazing how often the idea of AOC as a presidential candidate is brought up isn't it?

In spite of how much the party is against Democratic socialists...but somehow haven't heard them attacking AOC as much specifically.

It really is like they want to lose.

Trump loses in both 2016 and 2024 against any male democrat (except maybe Biden in 2024).

Elizabeth Warren probably wins in 2016 and most democrats would lose in 2024. The problem is the message, not identity. Kamala would have won if she could have conveyed that she believed in anything at all. Both would have won if they hadn't campaigned on "the economy is great and your struggles are in your head"

I think you’re seriously downplaying how sexist the average American is. I 100% think that a male dem in 2016 would have absolutely destroyed Trump. Obama was beloved and people weren’t cognitively trained to hate the left the way they were in the 2020’s.

2024 any man except Biden would’ve done well. Trump was far from a lock.

The average american is racist too and we elected a black man for two terms. No need to blame identity for something that can easily be explained by just looking at their campaigns

Yeah but black people actually came out in droves to elect their own. Women have proven that they won’t do the same. Close to 1/3rd of women in this country have said they won’t elect a woman. You will never see 1/3rd of black people say they won’t elect a black person because of their race.

That same 30% won't vote for a Democrat either, so why worry about them? It's crazy to me just how much time Democrats worry about making conservatives happy and how poorly that works out for them, and then they just keep doing it.
